I wanted to try and replace the glass rather than fork out for repairs.Thought I would give this a try and it worked perfectly.Few seconds with a hairdryer on the old one and it came off with the knife blade.Quick wipe with the supplied cloth, used the tweezers to position the new one and hey presto

Not impressed with myself dropping my phone a d puncturing the camera glass bang in the middle. Saw positive reviews of this item and have worked on phones before when it used to be possible. I do have tools but only used items from kit to see how they worked;40 secs with hairdryer to warm adhesive and carefully removed the broken glass... Tip wear safety specs it can pop small pieces of glass out. Took about 10 mins to carefully remove, tested camera again with no glass in and when all known good dropped the new piece in. Working perfectly, pretty happy.

I managed to smash the camera glass on my phone and panicked at the thought of having to either buy a new phone or hope a repair company wouldn't be too expensive (or unreliable). But then I found these DIY replacement kits and thought I'd give it a go.I watched several youtube videos on how to replace and managed to replace the glass successfully and thought all was good. However the camera had focusing problems which I eventually worked out was a tiny piece of broken glass I'd missed when applying the new glass. I think it was getting in the way of one of the camera lenses focusing.The glass isn't meant to be removed once applied, so I had to buy a second kit and reapply - but I'm glad I did as the problem is now solved.So I would happily recommend this kit - BUT would also recommend that you take your time to ensure the camera area is completely clean and free from any debris before you commit to applying the replacement. I would also recommend that you use a hairdryer to heat up the glass AFTER you've fitted it and then apply a bit of pressure whilst it cools. This seems to improve the adhesion which other reviews suggest might be an issue.

Ordered this as the price quoted to have it repaired scared me! For 7 quid it was worth a go. My partner tried to do it first and it was too fiddly for him, so I had to do it myself. What I will say, is that you can't use the hairdryer enough! It needs to heat up the adhesive holding the broken glass in place, and once you get a grip on that, the whole piece comes off in one. Heat it until you see the black adhesive bubble. Obviously you need to remove a small amount of the broken glass to get to the adhesive, but then there is no need to keep flicking tiny fragments of broken glass around with the knife. I found that one of the lenses was already damaged by my broken glass, so it is blurry, but blowing on it before sticking it on, and brushing with a soft make up brush, removes most particles.

Excellent. Easy to fit, just heat up with hair dryer, use the enclosed knife to pick all the glass away, clean with the cloth and stick new glass on.

Le changement de la vitre c'est bien passé, dommage que l'on ne sage pas vraiment comment si prendre.Pour ma part j' ai chauffé au sèche cheveux, et avec la petite pince livrée avec j ai enlevé la vitre en partant du point d Impact.Une fois changé cest quasi comme neuf.
