Q: I want to coat a wooden box with this so it doesn't catch on fire from a high energy 1,000+ watt bulb placed inside. Will it work?

You need a metal box. There is Intumescent paint that slows the wood from catching fire but you need a metal box.

Q: Can more people please post pictures of paint jobs and list the color used so people can see what the colors truly look like? In various lighting too!

My Mustang love it!

covers very well, exact Ford blue and looks awesome on my '65 Mustang engine block. Just make sure to 'decontaminate' the surface using thinner lacquer....NOT PAINT THINNER! it will help you avoid the 'fish eyes' which are hard to get rid of after the fact.
