Love the size of the clear bags for my sour dough bread. I was using gallon zip lock bags, but my bread was rising more so I needed a larger bag. They are strong enough for my bread. The bags are actually a little larger than my bread, but I like that the bread is not squished! The gold ties look great, but are not good quality and are flimsy. They easily slide off. I don’t use them any longer. The bags alone would earn a 5, the ties a 2!

These bags are perfect to store my homemade sourdough bread on the counter, in the fridge and in the freezer. Nice and roomy for even large loaves.

I bought these bags to store my bread machine loaves in, and they are the perfect size for them. They work well with sourdough bread, too. I wish the ties were better, though. I don't use the gold ones that came with the bags because they seem too flimsy.

If you bake bread, you need something to store it. I make enough that I always have a few loaves in the freezer. These bags are a lot less money than using typical freezer bags and they also easily hold a sandwich sized loaf. Like anything else, having the right tool makes the job easier and these bags are the right tool if you bake bread in conventional loaf pans.As an added benefit, I buy bulk ground beef and press it into quarter pound patties for freezing. These work very well for that as well.As long as I'm baking bread, I will have these around.
