Made in USA or China? The reviews state both. Howver, Buck knives that are USA made are stamped on the blade AFAIK. Is there a similar model that is Made in the USA? That's a deal breaker.

The blade says "Made in USA" on it. My suspicion is that the "Glass reinforced textured nylon handle" is the part that is imported. Just my guess though. I suppose the hardware that the blade is attached to could be imported. Write to Buck to find out for sure. If you want a fully "Made in USA" product, go up to the Prince and Squire models.

It is NOT assisted opening. You use your thumb to flip it open while snapping your wrist. Not an accurate description.
