Best Pie Ever!
This has been the best small pie I have ever purchased. There are no negative points to it, it is tasty, full of meat that is tender and flavoursome. The pastry is cooked to perfection without being stodgy it is light and the crust is secure. Try it you really will not be disappointed.

Nice pie
Filling very good, plenty of meat. Pastry’s a little crisp but I like it that way.

Pastry is terrible.
I've sampled three of their pies, steak and ale, beef and stilton and chicken, ham and leek. I am feeling relieved that I got them at an offer price. In all three pies, the pastry is like cooked cardboard. The crust is thin and hard and the case is not much better. Can any pastry experts tell me just what this pastry is called? The beef and ale included carrots, which whilst I like as a separate veg, the flavour is too prominent for me in a meat pie. The beef and stilton pie was good with an excellent stilton taste, but the chicken, ham and leek would have fooled me in a blind taste. My mother made truly excellent steak and kidney pies and didn't need all the herbs and spices craft pie makers are so keen on. Why are so many listed in the ingredients? I've been trying to find plain, good old fashioned meat pies with little success. Some of those that were excellent some years ago are but a dysmal memory of what they once were, or have simply disappeared. I may have to try my hand at making pastry and my own meat pies at this rate. Pity mum isn't around to give me her pastry tips!

Amazing!
One of my favourite pies of choice, filled with large chunks of meat and great flavour. The pastry is fantastic and crisps up nicely in the oven

A bit of a treat.
These poes are delicious. Worth spending a bit more than usual to get a pie that is actually full of meat.

Could cost less ..
Good amount of filling with a nice beery flavour. Pastry was lovely and not too thick .. would have been 5 stars but for the price
