Definitely works!
I developed rosacea about a year ago. At first I wasn’t sure what was going on, thought it was an allergic reaction to my sunscreen, or acne. Nope, type one, two and three rosacea. It got bad where my skin was thickening on my cheeks, I had acne like breakouts, and I was very red. I had a dermatologist appointment but I figured I’d give this a try, worked amazingly. The thickening skin is gone, breakouts are minimal, redness is still there but hey! I’ll take it! I use about every other night with a light sensitive skin moisturizer. If I have a flare up I’ll use every day until it gets a bit better. Negatives are it’s drying so use a light moisturizer, nothing heavy since that can make rosacea worse. I also make sure I wash my face right after I workout, and I use it right after if I take a longer walk since the sun is your enemy with my rosacea. Definitely use sunscreen daily!

It works better than medication!!!!
I was prescribed Tretinoin creme which seemed to work but I would still get rosacea breakouts if I missed a day or took a hot shower. I then tried this OTC crème and it works wonders. No redness. No breakouts. I am in shock and it is not a medication! Highly recommended.

Seems to be working. I’m hopeful
Update: this really has helped. Way less itching and pimples. The pink/redness still comes and goes but I’m please with the outcome so far. Hope it continues to get better. They dryness is still and issue even with face lotion but it’s better the the itching, pain, breakouts. With all treatments for stuff it takes time and it varies person to person. I’ve been using this 1-2 times a day after washing my face for a couple weeks. It’s helping. I notice less itching, pimples and redness on my cheeks and forehead. My face is dry so I put face lotion on about 10-20 min after applying this ointment.

pretty good!
Okay so I wouldn't call this a treatment because whoever has Rosecea knows there isn't a treatment for it. It's a rare condition and your either born with it or end up getting it as years progress. There's no particular answer as to why. Any who I've had rosacea on my cheeks since forever Dermatologist had mistaken it for rash, irritated skin and eczema. Well two years ago I finally came across a smart dermatologist to actually determine what was on my cheeks. I blamed the unnecessary creams prescribed to me throughout the years that made it worse b/c that's exactly what happen. First it was just pink then led to pink with bumps and in my twenties my cheeks were pink, bumpy, dry flaky just the worst. This cream was mentioned and you don't need a prescription great huh...? Well yes it was at least for me. I started to use this it has last about over a month and I'm ordering my second one. I still have rosacea but its tamed now. It's now dry no flakes and less bumps. Still pink but under makeup it's not noticeable anymore! And now I can consider blush! I have bought the most expensive products you can think of I mean top of the line products for redness to place in red spots before foundation etc. Well didn't work so swell it just made it inflamed. Anywho I'm big on real life reviews. I'm a big online shopper and I never left a long review before but this product is sincerely worth explaining how good it is. I also just want anyone who wants to consider buying this product an insight on what I've had to deal with as an individual b/c of rosacea. The only reason I put 3 stars was b/c the size of the tube( even though yes it's affordable and can last a long time using just pea size) but at least 2oz will be nice. Oh well I'm great full for its price at the end of the day, And two because it is NOT a treatment but it can help. Who knows maybe my rosacea can go away but as I said I've only used it a little over a month but yes I will definitely continue to order. It's been officially added to my daily products.

Doesn’t cure but helps!
This helped tremendously. I’ve been battling type 2 rosacea for over a year. Flaking, pustules, redness, itchy skin everything. I’ve tried so many things from ivermectin to oral antibiotics. Nothing seemed to work and it has been so draining. I bought this on a whim thinking it’s cheaper than anything else I bought so even if it doesn’t work it’s worth a try. Thank goodness I did because it has been a life saver. My redness is still there but the itching is gone the pustules have decreased and I feel normal again. It didn’t cure my rosacea but the changes have been drastic. I still have redness on my cheeks but that’s nothing to the pain I felt before which consisted of feeling like a thousand burning needles were poking my face.

Effective when prescriptions didn’t work.
I have rosacea related acne round my nose that’s caused by perimenopause. The acne would take forever to heal and as soon as it did, more would pop up. There was also a lot of redness to my skin in that area. Painful, embarrassing, and frustrating! When this first started a few years ago my dermatologist put me on a low dose doxycycline that worked well. The rosacea went away for awhile and then came back with a vengeance about a year ago. I’ve tried every OTC remedy, old-wives-tale cures, and prescriptions with little, to no impact. Then I found Prosacea. Within a couple of days, no exaggeration, my acne was healing and I wasn’t having new breakouts. What!! I’ve been using this daily (in the am after showering) for a few weeks now and my acne & redness has cleared up completely! I had one very small red spot appear a few days ago, so I applied Prosacea twice daily and it went away without getting worse. I’ve stopped the doxycycline and am now using Prosacea exclusively to control my rosacea. I am a very happy customer! If anything changes over time I will update this review.

Amazing!!!
AMAZING. I want to cry at the results. It's not extremely thick or heavy. It did dry my skin a little a first but then I just used a thinner layer. It really does help with redness. The smell is a little strong but I can't complain. Pretty easy to use.

Get it!
This has been amazing for my rosacea. I started developing rosacea about 6 months ago-hoemone related, I believe (I am 42). Co-workers started making comments and pointing it out and it made me so self conscious. After using this for 2 weeks, it has completely gone! I started with 2 times a day and now am able to use it once a day to keep things at bay. It's a little drying but easily managed with a good moisturizer. So worth every penny!
