Great Jacket, good value after a year I'd buy it again.
6/2025: I've had this for a year, and it was purchased by me for Minnesota riding, including from 45 degrees to our hot and humid summer days. I'm 6' and 175 and the large fits me fine with room for layers. It weighs 2.79 pounds with the pads in place, and I find it comfortable with a T-shirt or sleeveless tee on the hotest days, but I think the dark colors (red/black) make it warmer on sunny days. I wear several layers under and one over it to match the temperature. A fleech liner, this Jacket, with another windproof larger jacket at 45 degrees, then just the fleece at 55 degrees and up, sometimes with a light windbreaker over the fleece, and then just this jacket with a tee, and if it's really hot I can go with just the jacket. All of these options provide me with the pads for protection, back, elbows, and shoulders. No real complaints other than the zipper pocket was cut just a little to small and as a result my 6.3" OnePlus 12 will just barely fit, so I often use the velcroed pocket instead, and that works fine. The cuffs are good for catching air when left open, and the mesh provides good air flow. Bottom line for me is I am very happy with it for the price and quality. I would like a white one, with a little more mesh and the same pads to use on our crazy MN days with the temps are over 90 and it's humid, and when I wear a half helmet rather than my full face one. But for me it's getting like golf-who wants to do ride of gold at those temps and humidity anyway? My car has air. ;-)

Pretty Comparable To Higher Priced Summer Jackets
I read all of the reviews and watched the videos in the "Reviews" section before buying, still a bit skeptical of exactly what I'd be getting for the price. I ordered one anyway, and just received it - sooner than expected, BTW.Initial impressions:**I'll start by saying the "grey" jacket is very close to "white" - the pictures on Amazon were pretty accurate. If you're looking for a "color match", I'd guess that matters. (I like the contrast - I'll definitely be seen on the roads.) +/- 0**I tried the jacket on and stood in front of a fan. I could easily feel the air going through the jacket. The mesh allowed air to pass without "ballooning" any of the panels. This should be a welcome feature during the hot / humid summer riding season here. +1**I'm 5'8", 195# with broad shoulders (which are usually the toughest thing to fit for me). The XL is very close to perfect. I have a little room in the shoulders, which is what I wanted, and the rest of the jacket fits well. Sleeve length is good as well +1**The stitching is very good - no loose threads or pulling of fibers. Appears adequate in all areas. +1**The Velcro adjustments are very good. Placement on the cuffs and exterior waistband are good. Quality seems good (time will tell). +1**The main/ front closure zipper was a bit stiff at first use. I expect that will improve with some use. +/- 0**The CE armor is in the right places. **If it comes "folded / creased" like mine did, a little time / heat will relax the armor into its original shapes. +1**The black non-color panels are all mesh material. There's no signs of fraying or unwinding like I'd expect with cheaper materials or assembly. You can easily see through the panels except where the back armor and pockets are. +1**The collar has a soft material like microfiber or neoprene - without the weight. There are no sharp / hard nylon threads penetrating the collar. Seems very comfortable! +1**It has a four pockets:Two lower / outside zip-up pockets - vinyl / nylon lining. Zippers work well / easily. +1One zip-up inside left pectoral pocket that is also vinyl / nylon lined. Zipper works well / easily. +1One Velcro closed inside left breast pocket. It is vinyl / nylon lined and feels waterproof. (The Velcro concerns me since I can see myself pulling that away from the interior structure of the jacket with use over time.) -1**These are NOT waterproof or water resistant. Not sure why anyone would expect them to be. Asking a “Mesh Jacket” to double as Rain Gear is like installing Screen Windows in a Submarine and being surprised that water was pouring in.Originally I thought I might be buying a "One riding season "disposable" jacket".... That appears NOT to be the case.Overall, I think the positives FAR outweigh the few negatives. especially at the price. IF time proves me wrong, I'll post a subsequent review in here. But I'm guessing I'll be quite pleased with this jacket for at least several riding seasons.***EDIT*** - Going into season THREE with this jacket. It's holding up very well. No tears, rips, pulling apart of the stitching, or zipper failures. The velcro closed pocket is still holding up well. Velcro tabs are also holding up well. This jacket STILL gets a FIVE STAR RATING in my opinion. It's withstood the test of time.

Pink hue
This lightweight padded, jersey lined jacket is great. Love the fit and sippers are strong and don’t snag. But the red has a pink hue to it! I have a red bike wanted the red jacket not pinkish. Other than that great jacket.

Is There A Word For Better Than Perfect ?
Whoohoo!!! Wow .. way better than I expected. So I'm a bit older (in my 50s) and I've always just worn a leather jacket or, if it's really hot out, I'll just wear a wool shirt with long-sleeves while riding. So the inevitable happened and I went down. Tore my leather jacket up something horrible. Ripped it all along the back, and the left arm all but tore away. It was obvious how much it protected me. More than I would have guessed, but the incident caused some shoulder damage and tore my elbow up pretty good too. I thought about just getting another leather jacket, but figured maybe try one of these actual "motorcycle" jackets with padding, designed for riders. The problem, I live in Arizona and it gets super hot, so it would need to be really lightweight AND allow air flow. Imagine that - a jacket that is NOT designed to keep you warm? This one does a pretty good job, it's mesh so it only adds a little warmth, kind of like a light windbreaker. In addition I didn't want to look like a goofball, walking around in one of those bright colored, hard armored things that stand out in a crowd. You know the ones, look great while your riding, but you look like a doofus in line at the movies. This one looks fairly normal when unzipped and just walking around (Not as good as a nice leather jacket, but still not bad). Fits wonderfully great !!! It has all sorts of adjustments to give you a comfortable good looking fit, no matter your size. I'm a short, round guy so I was worried about the sizing. I needed enough material to get around my belly, but still have arms that fit a short guy. So I got the 4X and with the adjustments, it fits great. I am absolutely amazed at the quality of this jacket for the price. I hope never to test the padding and durability, but I feel so much better with it, and confident it will keep me from serious injury in a similar accident. Get yourself one.
