Teaching with Morphemes-Anatomy & Physiology

Background- I was a high school teacher for 15 years and have worked at a college of health science for three years. I work with students at various levels in general education, nursing, sonography, and biomedical sciences (pre-med, PA, etc) as well as students who are working toward a doctorate of nurse anesthesia.GET THIS BOOK! It is so much more than a list of terms and meanings. This book is a workbook that I use daily with students. I have it folded into my first-year course I teach as well as working with our Anatomy and Physiology courses. This is relevant not only for A&P but also for all health care-related programs. The challenge I see frequently is that students lack the background knowledge or study skills to be as successful as they would like. This book helps them learn to speak the language of A&P as well as nursing. A lot of that education is in Greek and Latin, last time I checked, my students do not take those courses in high school. This helps bridge the gap incredibly well.Consider this book as your new textbook if you teach a medical terminology course. 10/10
