Comfortable effective plug at a great price
I commute about an hour every day by motorcycle on the interstate. I use plugs under my helmet to help with wind noise and have used the expensive similar major brand to allow me to listen to my communication system. They work well. I’ve been using these for a couple of weeks And think they are just as good and are more comfortable at half the price. They are more comfortable because the silicone is thinner so the put less pressure on my ears. The others had to be installed just right to be long term comfortable. I don’t have to think about these they just work. They seal well and pass sound at the right level to use my Cardo system while protecting my hearing. The one outstanding question is whether the thinner silicone will hold up as well as my original ones. But, at this price even if they don’t they are worth it for the comfort.

Great quality, easy to use
These came right on time and worked perfectly. The sound quality was not distorted, and cut the volume down just right so that we could enjoy the concert. The fit was great for our ears. Easy to put in and remove.

Give These a Try
For the price, I thought they were very good in a concert scenario. I considered some more expensive options, but I've never user earplugs before at an event, so I figured I'd go cheap and see how it went. Does it sound like you just turned down the volume? Not exactly. It is a little muffled at first when you put them in, but I think you adapt. They definitely reduce the volume - and that's the main point and it is what I wanted them for. They do that pretty well and I thought they were comfortable. I did need to fiddle a bit to get them in far enough. The question is, do the more expensive options have a more linear volume reduction? I don't know without trying, but I doubt that the $40 range is going to be much different. $200+ options are probably better, and a must for actual musicians on stage. I liked these on my first concert trial. They are comfortable, fit well, protect your ears from high volume and look better than my friend's foam things sticking out of his ears. I bet they sound better than foam as well.

Protect your ears without missing anything
These are a must have for any concert. They fit in any size ear and offer protection from loud sounds. They are soft and not sticky and keep their shape in the ear. The fact that they come with a carrying case is a game changer to keep them clean and you are able to attach them to your keys. They also work well for people with autism to block out any loud sounds in a bar or store while still being able to hear that person speaking to you. Could also be used for sleeping. Very disability friendly for sure.

Cut volume in half
I got these to wear in the evenings while I watch TV with my dad who is hard of hearing. He has a hard time wearing his own hearing aids because it gives him eczema in his ears. So this seemed like a great way to still be able to enjoy hanging out while also not going deaf myself. This took the TV sound down halfway for me. Thank heavens. Now I can tolerate his football games and a noise level that doesn’t make my nerves on end. Great price. Very comfortable. Fit easily in my ears and I have fairly small ear holes.

Works great. Container is too difficult to get them out.
I struggled to get them out of the metal container, needed tweezers to pull them out. but they do work in loud environments and feel comfortable.

Good product for the money. Not perfect, but overall a 5 star product for function and value
I wear foam earplugs to sleep and I always use high fidelity earplugs in other louder environments. I usually go with the Etymotic high fidelity earplugs with replacement foam ear tips (since the decibel rating is higher than the flange tips) as my go to pair. I visited my parents and my father's hearing is quite poor and as much as I love the man, he is too stubborn to get hearing aids. So watching TV seems like being in a rock concert. I usually bring my crutch high fidelity earplugs, but I forgot them on this trip. Long story short, I settled on this brand due to the reviews, price, the two pairs per set and I could get them with next day shipping with Prime. Etymotic was not available in that location for a few days, which was too long since it was a short trip. Overall, I feel that these earplug are high fidelity and the decibel rating is fair. I am not an expert, but the hearing protection was acceptable for my use and honestly better for the situation I was in. When I bring my go to set, sometimes they are almost a little too good and I have a hard time hearing lower sounds. Those though are great for concerts and generally tolerable in terms of comfort for most of the show. I am not sure that I would fully trust the Hearproteks at a concert for total protection, but it would most certainly go in the better than not having them category and I would be glad to have them. I have not tried them at a concert to say for sure. In terms of comfort, I found my ear feeling itchy at about an hour and a half. Sliding them slightly out helps with that. That is probably the price of protecting your ears and having good fidelity. The overall kit is nice. The carry case is okay and I had issues sometimes opening the case, but it was easy to get the plugs out due to the design. The cord they provide is also good quality and has an innate sticky feeling to them, which is good because it stay around your neck. My wife is using the smaller pair for walking dogs and going into the kennel runs. She likes how convenient it is to pop them in and then take them out and let them dangle from the cord around her neck. One very important tip that seems obvious, but I did not think about the first time I used them. There is a little pull tab on each plug to help get them out. Hold the tab as you push them into your ears to ensure the tab is available to take them out. My first time I just shoved them in and had a bit of a hard time removing them. I learned that lesson quick. I will spare anyone reading this far down in this review that situation I put myself in. Overall, a nice little set that is high fidelity, fairly priced, and a good value overall for the performance.

Comfortable, almost invisible, and up to the task even at the very front of a concert venue.
For starters, lemme just bust out the fact that you get TWO pair. Already a win. These things are comfortable in the extreme, and I am NOT generally a fan of in-ear anything. I have very small ear canals, so sometimes things like earbuds are incredibly irritating, but the silicone flanges on these make wearing them incredibly easy, to the point where it's easy to forget that you are (something I'm NOT prone to doing). Wore these for the end of the Ghost "Impreatour" right at the front of the pit- maybe 15 feet from the lower speaker stacks. Literally the first time I've walked away from a concert without hideous tinnitus ringing in my head for two days after. It was actually a bit disconcerting, as I'm so used to being half-deaf after an event. Back to the plugs themselves- the outer 'shell' comes in two sizes, I use the small ones. The aluminum storage tube is very handy and keeps the actual filters safe from being crushed. With the clear silicone outers, literally nobody can even see you wearing them- not in bright light, and certainly not in the darkness of a concert venue. I'd not only recommend them for anyone looking at a concert (I've bought 3 sets so far, one for me, one for my kid, and one as a backup), but my kid (who has some auditory-sensory issues) will wear theirs in other day-to-day places when the noise gets oppressive. The big win there being that these are basically INVISIBLE, so it's not like you're wearing big over-ear headphones or something. Whenever mine wear out I'll def buy a few more sets. I HATE when a product I love gets discontinued.
