Q: Can you use this to cut holes in coins to make coin ring?

I doubt it. You have to put a good bit of force behind it to get through 22 gauge sheet. I don't think it would make it through a coin.

Q: I don't understand why it says "cuts perfect spheres." How does it make a sphere out of sheet stock?

The different sized metal cylinders you see in the picture are use to make a sphere on a piece of flat plate metal. I take a piece of metal plate , insert it into the center of the jig. Place whatever size cylinder I want to cut into its marked hole from the top, hammer it a couple times, and it's done. Comes out with s perfect circle in the plate, and a leftover sphere that was punched out.. It works really well, I've used mine a lot.. I use it to make rings... By sphere , it's comical , it make a circle , flat .
