A whole lot of bang for the buck!
This guitar is very high quality. I own two Taylor guitars so I am used to perfection out of the box. This is my third guitar and it doesn't disappoint. The guitar comes with a checklist inside hand signed by several different people signing off on their specific category of quality control. I can see that accountability for quality is very important to the Seagull brand. The finish is as close to perfect as can be expected. It is super thin, this is good because it allows sound to resonate better. The ONLY thing I could nit-pic wrong with this guitar as far as quality was that the herringbone divider on the back was ever so slightly off center from the neck. Otherwise absolute perfection! The guitar has a very warm tone. It is in total contrast to my Taylor guitars which have a typical Taylor brightness to them. I chose this particular model because of the warm tone. This guitar would compare well with a Martin D-15 which is all mahogany. It has a great sound for folk, country, bluegrass, and is generally a very pleasant sounding guitar. I am very pleased with the sound and gives me the contrast that I wanted from my other guitars. DO NOT buy this guitar if you are looking for a bright tinny sound, you won't be happy. The guitar plays very well. It has a 1.8 inch nut width which gives a little breathing room so to speak up and down the neck. I very much like the neck on this guitar. Compared to Taylor it is very similar as far as the neck goes. The wider neck is great to play if you have thicker fingers or play finger style. It is very forgiving to play and roomy up the neck. It is not at all like a typical Martin 1 5/8 neck. The strings that came on the guitar I personally did not like. I am used to Elixer Polyweb strings so I changed them right away. They sound fine and play fine. For me it was simply a personal preference. I think they would do well to just go with a big brand highly sold string instead of their custom strings that are made for them. You may or may not love them, it is a toss up, depending on what you like and are used to playing. The case is super light and strong. It is a unique case unlike any other I have seen. Personally I think it is fabulous. It has a back pack type strap system , but the strength of a full hard case. However it does not have the weight of a full hard case. It is velvet lined and has the high end interior that you would expect in a Taylor or Martin premium case but the exterior is material and not hard shell like a typical case. It is really different and hard to explain. You wont be disappointed with the portability or strength of the case. The electronics are nice! It has a built in tuner that is right on. The controls are typical with a bass, treble, and volume control. The battery for the electronics is in the side of the guitar near the plug in. This is convenient because you never know when the battery will go and no strings have to be removed. This is like Taylor so I would not expect any less.Overall this guitar is an incredible value. I don't quite get how an all solid wood guitar with electronics, sound, and quality that rivals the big three guitar brands sells for so much less. If you are on a budget and want a great quality and great sounding guitar for probably a third of the price or less of the competition then this is definitely your guitar. It really seems strange how a guitar made in North America that uses the best woods and super nice components doesn't sell for three or four times as much. I would recommend this guitar to someone who likes a warm folk sound and appreciates the finer quality wood and components. It is probably not for you if you like a narrow neck or want a classical or bright sound from you guitar. I would buy it again if I had it to do over mainly because of price. You just can't beat it for the money.

I believe it was the dry heat in the Kuwaiti desert that caused the damage as the box it came in seemed fine. Despite the damage
I started with the Seagull Rustic Entourage bundle. The guitar was shipped without accessories, and the top lifted from the binding at the lower rear bout causing a three inch crack along the surface of the instrument. I believe it was the dry heat in the Kuwaiti desert that caused the damage as the box it came in seemed fine. Despite the damage, the guitar played and sounded great. I returned the instrument and ordered the Maritime SWS rosewood with the QI pickup. Considering the damage to the box this guitar was shipped in, I was amazed at how well the instrument looked. It had a seven inch long hairline crack along the lower side running with the grain on the inside curve, and some small finish cracks below the pick-guard near the binding. Despite the damage, the guitar sounded great and I actually considered keeping it. Finally, I ordered the Artist Mosaic QII SHIPPED WITH TRIC case and Walla, perfection at last. I own many Yairi's and a 1977 Martin DY35 with custom nut and bridge sized just like the Seagull guitars. Amazing craftsmanship, very happy with the way it sounds, feels, looks. You will not be disappointed.

love the tone and play-ability of it
I can't put this guitar down, love the tone and play-ability of it. I am an advanced beginner or maybe intermediate guitar player and really did not need to buy a guitar of this high of quality but I am glad I did. I also own a Seagull S6 and love how it plays. The S6 is on the lower end of Seagull guitars and the Artist Mosaic is on the higher end. I thought that if the low end Seagull plays that well then the Artist must be great. Turns out I was right. I love this guitar. I would recommend Seagull guitars from top to bottom to anyone thinking about buying one. If this one is not in your budget then you will do fine with anything in between this and the S6.

Proud Owner of an Amazing New Seagull Artist Mosaic Deluxe QII Guitar!
Bonjour et Merci a Tous! I'm writing from the Big Island of Hawaii, with my new Seagull Artist Mosaic Deluxe QII Guitar!I ordered it from Amazon when I found out you are in Québec! I lived in Montréal for 13 yrs,and miss it dearly.Thank you ALL to worked on my guitar ( #03350800xxxx ). Truly wonderful craftsmanship!!I would totally order from you again, and recommend you to anyone I know looking for an excellent guitar. The action is high, so am working to lower it by sanding down the saddle piece. My work is paying off andnow the action is getting closer to how my fingers like it.As well, humidity here in Hawaii is high and I notice the guitar's action to be changing almost daily. Is there a 'Dehumidifier' that you might recommend?Again, I embrace all of you (Sorry, my French has gotten rusty!),Aloha, to all!Ken JohnstonProud Owner of an Amazing New Seagull Artist Mosaic Deluxe QII Guitar! !

Outstanding guitar!!
This is an outstanding guitar!!! The sound is crystal clear. Setup and action good right out of the box. I have a Seagull S6 and wanted to upgrade. I really had to talk myself into spending the money but very glad that I did. This sounds better than my friends' Martin guitars which cost twice or three times as much
