Fun project!
I got the Starry Night since I am interested in astronomy. I'd had this in my wish list for a while so when it discounted on Prime Day I decided to try it. It's supposed to look and work like a little orrery when done, with planets revolving around the sun. This took me two evenings to complete, and I have to say, I'm pretty impressed with this music box project. Instructions are incredibly well-written for a kit of this type, diagrams are accurate, and if you follow the instructions step-by-step, and pay attention to the diagrams, you won't go wrong assembling this. They even stop you at one point and remind you to check assembly because this is a point that afterward mistakes are difficult to disassemble and fix. The wooden parts punch out easily, they are well-identified, and there are even extras of pieces that are especially prone to breakage. I had to use a couple of the extra parts, so I appreciated this. They even include clever tools for measuring so that all the gears will be at the right spot to mesh together properly in the finished project. Literally everything you need is included, so you don't have to supply anything from home. Everything fits together tightly, so much so that you have to work some of the parts together a bit before they will mesh. This is great, because there isn't any glue needed and it's still pretty solid in spite of not having been glued. The gears work well, but you have to wind the music box up all the way to get it started. When it's working and the planets are revolving around, it really looks very cute. The laser cut wood color is actually very attractive on its own, and it doesn't require any additional painting for it to look nice. The only thing I didn't especially love about this music box is the choice of song... this particular one would have been better with a space/moon-oriented song... I am still puzzled by the choice of "Memories" from Cats. Not a bad song, just not appropriate in this context. Conclusion? I'd totally buy another kit from this company. It's a high-quality product for what I paid and I'm very pleased with the ease of assembly and quality of parts. This would make a nice gift for a crafty person who likes making things with their hands.

Memories of an orrery
I have made several of these kits from this company (mostly to keep my sanity during lockdowns). This is the first one I decided to modify a bit. It wasn’t the easiest one to build. And some of the parts are pretty fragile so a light touch is needed. Although you could do this kit with no glue I opted for a tad here and there to reinforce some areas. I also took it apart and put it together several times to insure the gears were running smoothly. It would have been nice if the music box played something more appropriate like Fly Me to the Moon or StarDust instead of memories. I opted to paint this one myself and I ditched all the beads except the one for the sun. I ordered wooden beads and painted them to look like our solar system. It works as long as the music box is fully wound only then does it really have enough force to drive the planets around. Be gentle when you wind it and careful where you hold it. But on the whole it was fun and a I am happy with the way it turned outI would love to see this company tackle the Antikythera mechanism next.

An amazing keepsake
The "Starry Night" puzzle is amazing! The pieces are good quality, and there were even extra 'planet' pieces so I could decide the colors. I colored the pieces with metallic Sharpie markers before I constructed it, to make it prettier. The directions were clear, but I'm not the best at building things so I got a little stuck once or twice but my husband helped me out with it. The music box plays and the planets rotate perfectly. It's a great addition to my keepsake collection.

Like a puzzle.
It is quite small and not suitable for a child. The instructions were a bit tricky but if you can assemble Ikea you should probably manage these. It took me about four evenings to put together. The material is rather soft (I did break a couple of pieces) but there are some spares which I didn't use. A drop of superglue was sufficient. The post coming out of the music box appears to be warped or bent so the motion is not quite smooth however once assembled it does work. Overall I rate it a very enjoyable project. A nice gift for people who like models.

Very cool.
This is a great "puzzle". You need a light touch on some of the pieces as they can break, but the kit included extra pieces just for that. I highly recommend.

Great project!
Beautifully made. The parts were easy to remove and didn’t need any sanding or finishing. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. It takes a few hours total to complete.

My son loved this
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my adult son. I like to buy him puzzles each year and this year I wanted a 3D puzzle for he and his girl friend to work on. This caught my eye right away. He really liked putting it together. A piece broke but I knew you had to be really careful while punching out the pieces. He said the one he broke did not make any difference in how it worked when finished. It's really pretty and moves and sounds just like it should. He liked it so much he bought himself another one!
