A: Hi Lotte! This bowl may be a little too small for that. 3.2 ounces of kernels popped would come to about 12 cups of popcorn. These hold 4 cups when filled to the rim.

A: Uhhh...I don't think I reviewed these.  My bowls are round and they hold a lot!  In fact, both sizes of the Corelle bowls I own hold more than one would think.  Sorry I couldn't help more!

A: I don"t see any reason why not. I would not do this if bowl was to be used for food.

Edges scoop up the sides more for any gravies or juices on your plate. Im sure they'll hold up as long as the original round, wavy side, white ones I got 20 years ago. But wow! the whole set was $14.99-24.99 as a kid. 6 plates alone cost $40 now.
