KEEN Men's Newport H2 Sandal

Really nice quality. As I'd expect from keen. Very comfortable.

I came to these from cheaper Karrimor copies from Sports Direct. I loved the style, ventilation etc plus the protected toe.I found the footbed took a bit of getting used to. There is about a 12mm heel to toe drop and I found there was what felt like a ridge around d the midfoot. Either my feet adapted and/or the shoes softened and no more problems after a short period.The soles are grippy on everything barring climbing steep loose terrain (they are still okay here due to the wide contact patch afforded by the large sole as they are very wide) and mud. If you live somewhere dry, these could be your only footwear and you'd be good.I've worn them almost daily since November. In winter, just wear thicker socks. Work, gym, with jeans, with shorts etc no problem and I've just done 4 days of the North Downs Way in them (80+ kms).The heel and forefoot is wearing, but grippy rubber wears out. They provide traction in wet and dry conditions. The sole isn't Vibram but it is a very good compound.The uppers are still like new. Nothing has frayed or come loose. They are tough.

Update: Well they have loosened up and are now very comfortable. Well made should hopefully last. Firm soles so not uncomfortable walking over small stones. I got the size I always get and they are very snug. Basically I could remove the laces as they aren’t needed. I was toying with the idea of going half a size up. After going for a walk I now wish I had. Hopefully they will loosen up bit. Very glad I got them. Would definitely buy them again but would go up half a size.

I have worn sandals in the summer months for many years. I have two dogs and like to walk, and I like them around the home and garden.I was a bit of a traditionalist and tended towards Clarks leather Trekkers and similar buy felt they looked a bit dated this time.I carefully researched, read reviews and looked at pictures and finally decided on these sandals which I ordered from Amazon Prime.Wow! Good choice. I did literally try them on and felt like my feet were home. I love these sandals. Excellent fit, good tread and padding.Let's be honest, mens sandals are not a fashion statement. But as my wife put it ' amongst a broad range of non fashion statements, they stand out as being stylish and attractive.'Not cheap, but we'll designed/ engineered, comfortable, and worth every penny.Sometimes, just sometimes, you buy something and you genuinely feel that you have got what you paid for. This is one of those occasions for me.

Great footwear, this is my 3rd pair! (Worn the others out, although the Dog is still going). Keen is a good brand / good products and worth the investment.

After issues with other brands really really happy with these sandals. Look great but more importantly they are supportive when walking. Used them for a couple of weeks now. Will update the review in a month or two

WOW ! I am pleasantly surprised with these sandals! They are like a 4x4 version of sandals!Nice and heavy ... made with real rubber and NO plastic! If you have wide feet .. order up sizeI would defo recommend and will definitely buy again! Go getcha sum! :) cheers

Stitching coming undone within a month of use. Quality has gone down in recent years.
