Just what I needed

Great book!

I can recommend this book for those, who want to understand the engineering side of garments modeling, who want to learn how to calculate and draw new beautiful and complicated geometric forms or drapes and make them wearable. I own the previous three books too and enjoy the way author operates with fabric and provides us with this material and geometry sense.

If you want the freedom to make clothes that fit you, and make you happy - these books are a great way to motivate you to try new ideas.

Finally came out the English edition! Pattern magic is the best and the funniest pattern book, no doubt.

This is a really good buy. I find some of the instructions to be a bit hard to grasp at first, which I assume is due to the translation from original Japanese to English. I enjoy using it

Professional seamstress here. I love the techniques used in this series but the directions are hard to follow. Drafting the pattern is doable but the stitching directions are often unclear. Maybe its because it's a translation? Either way, the items are incredible- once you figure out how they go together
