I accidentally pulled the chain on this personal Defense Sabre. Let me tell you my story, it was so loud I’m sure the neighbors was wandering what was going on! I drop it in a cup of water, did not stop it. I went outside and threw it in my pond it still was loud. I ran over it with the car, no slowing down, so I finally took the hammer to it. I was laughing so hard. I ordered me another right away. I told my friends about it all 9 of them ordered them one. I called my twin sister, she said all you had to do was to put the end of the chain back on!!! I found the chain two days later!! Damage already done, gone out with the trash!!!!

A piece of junk. It comes detached too easily, setting off the alarm. Also, you need to be in light to see to pick the pin back in. Terrible.It would be better if you could just push a button. I threw it away.

Fortunately, I have not had to use this yet. I had one at an old job of mine for security purposes. Now, I bring it with me if I am walking my dog alone at night. I have always feared that in a moment I need to scream I might freeze. This alarm gives me peace of mind in regards to that.

I ordered 3 of this product and was disappointed that the batteries in 2 out of the 3 were already dead. So saying "batteries included" is not completely accurate.
