I am installing 400 w panel on top of my rv i was looking for a thicker gauge but this style type of bracket. any suggestions?

Used them on my RV for two 100 watt solar panels and after 10,000 miles the Wind forces were Strong enough to bend the frame of the solar panel and the brackets. I had to take the panels off and reinforce the panels themselves as well as mount more of these feet and use larger washers to help disperse the forces. That said I’m about to order some more for another install but this time I’ll use a lot of them, which will help not only with wind lift but as well as dispersing the forces generated by a heavy snow load.

Does anyone know what the ground clearance is? Like how high off the ground will the panel sit?

The clearance between the solar panel bottom edge and whatever you're mounting it to is about an inch. The bracket is fairly thin (but sturdy) so its essentially a flush mount to the solar panel. So it's all about the offset space built into the bracket design... and that's about 1".

can I use them to install panels on Corrugated metal roof?

I don't see why not...just position on the panels and roof exactly where you want the bracket.....

Is there a way I could use these to mount flexible solar panels backed by coroplast stiffner on van roof?

These were bought to fit my Renogy solar panels. The price is fair on these as you get all the mounting hardware you need and they are made to exact fit their panels. They are perfect for keeping the panels an inch off the roof to allow for proper air flow keeping your panels cooler. They are made of aluminum so they are nice and light. The aluminum is also ideal as you won't get the corrosion caused by using a steel bracket on an aluminum frame. The hardware included is also nice and solid. Overall, I'm very happy I got these. I could easily have saved a few bucks by making my own brackets, but the time saved and nice finished look are well worth the extra few dollars. I would highly recommend these if you have their solar panels. Pros: exact fit all hardware included very light Cons: None
