Who has used in the V7 animal ?will it easy to fall off?

I bought my V7 animal at Best Buy in Dec 2021. This trigger lock will not stay on. The small finger rest under the trigger appears to be much thinner, so the trigger lock doesn't even get the slightest hint of a purchase to it and slides right off.

It says it fits the dyson v8 but has but reviews or anything i just want to make sure before i purchase 4 of them for everyone in my family,

Does this have to be removed each time or can it stay on when not in use?

Stays on! Just swivel the lever to turn on/off. I have a V6 and V7, fits better on V6 bc you push it in as firm/snug as it will fit. The V7 is a little trickier, cant push it all the way in, but works fine once in position.

Does it work with the dyson v11 torque drive?

Skip. It is cheap made and falls off.
