A little guidebook explaining the design techniques used by Disney Imagineers in creating Buena Vista Street and the rest of Disney California Adventure. This book does not contain information on rides, food outlets or shopping in the park. But instead if focuses on the design themes and has many concept drawings. Organized by each theme "land".

I am a Disney FANatic. This book was nice, but left me wanting more. The cover suggested that this book would be like having an imaginer take you thru the park and give insights. It did not live up to expectations. No little details like look above the warf and see the design of the window....Much broader insights like. In cars land we developed the cars to have graphics that disappear from the front window after you get in the car, thus looking like the cars in the movie, but not distracting once in the car.

Great book. Real insight into the making of Disney California Adventure. I can only hope there is a new version that will be updated with the changes to DCA. If you are a Disneyland resort fan this is the book for you. I highly recommend it.

Ah yes, all about the sister park to the fatherland park, Disneyland. Full of tidbits, some of which you have to search for when visiting the Adventure. And some of which that are all changed out already.

I was glad when the final book in the series of all the domestic Disney parks was released. An excellent backstory on all the attractions with concept art and photos that add to the enjoyment of reading.

For a Disney fan like myself, this book provides background information on most of the attractionsand gives me a different prespective when visiting the parks. On par with all of the other imagineering field guides.

If your a fan of Disney parks, these books are a great behind the scenes guide. My only complaint, the books are small and some things can be difficult to read.
