GE ProLine UltraMax Multi-Volt Electronic Fluorescent Ballast, T8 Instant Start Ballast

Hook up simple.

Replaced the Accupro AP-RC-432IP-120-1 with this this ballast and it worked perfectly. Almost exactly the same size as well so it fit with no adjustments in my light fixture. Now we'll see if it last longer than the other one did.

Ordered 4 of these for my garage. Worked great, no problem installing. Be aware there is a delay between when you flip the switch and when the lights come on of maybe a half second. If you have any OCD this might be an issue for you if you are not replacing all of them in a room.

led conversion to a 4 lite T-8 has become cheap enough to do replacements, but as always a single ballast, has a cost at or higher than buying the whole lite. Bought 4 for the price of 1 at the local home depot. I did not like that they came in a poly mailer, tabs were bent, for the price, i'll get over it

I don’t like the second delay when turning lights on. Other than that they worked great!

It works to replace original ballast in HD purchased cheap ceiling fixture. Momentary delay in lamps coming on, noted by others, is trivial factor to me.

They work and I do not know the longevity of those ballast. Why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars because I do not know how long those product last.

Fantastic ballast. As long as you follow the wiring diagram on the label, the installation is simple and foolproof.Using with 4 GE 17-Watt EQ 24-in Cool White Linear LED Tube Light Bulbs, Model # 30580.

I used this 4-lamp ballast to replace 2x 2-lamp old inefficient ballasts. Also switched from T12 fluorescent to T8 LEDs at the same time. This ballast works great -- instant start and no flickering on all maps, and the annoying whine is gone as well. Much more efficient than my previous setup to boot.Just a note: Amazon page title & description both says GE432MV-N which is the model name for multi-volt ProLine, what I actually received was GE432MAX-G-N which is the UltraMax, a step up from ProLine if I'm reading the specs correctly. So no complaints here!As for shipping, I got mine in a bubble wrap mailer with no other protection. So I would recommend you install/test as soon as possible so you can return if needed whilst still in the return window.

Worked. Installed and the bulb starts instantly with this ballast, very happy with the purchase saved me a ton of money and a trip to the hardware store.

This Ballast Works As Described For A Replacement Unit. Easy to use as a replacement for my lighting.

Works as designed, but it’s cheap because it doesn’t run the tubes at full brightness. There’s a noticeable dimming right after switching them on.
