Another great Baldacci offering
For readers of adventure, mystery, and action. This is the third book of David Baldacci's Camel Club Series and to me the best Series of the five series he has created. All the books of the Camel Club Series rate a 5 star with me. Oliver Stone is the main character of all the Camel Club Series along with several other characters that appear in each of the series' books. All these characters are very well developed in each of the books and I think a reader could read this series out of order and still enjoy them. However this series has much more impact if read in order of issue as each book carries a little something on to the next one. I do not give 5 stars to just any book or series but Baldacci deserves a 5 star rating for this book and this complete series so far. If you are interested in reading the Camel Club Series from the beginning here is the order of issue: #1 The Camel Club; #2 The Collectors; #3 Stone Cold; #4 Devine Justice; #5 Hell's Corner. I am hoping that Baldacci will write more to this series but right now he seems to be working on adding to some of the other series he has created. To me none of the other 4 series he has created truly rates 5 stars. The King & Maxwell Series rates a solid 4 stars overall but The Shaw; John Puller and Will Robie series just don't rate as high. However his most recent addition (2013) to the Will Robie Series titled The Hit might just be the best of what he has written recently. Baldacci has many "stand alone" books and many are enjoyable reading as well. And if you don't care for mystery, adventure and intrigue try reading his book "Wish You Well"--heart warming story set in rural Virginia of years past. Excellent for adults and children of 12 and up.

Great book!
Stone Cold kept me on my toes. I had no idea what was going to happen next!As with The Collectors two parallel storylines are being described. The first one involves Annabelle Conroy. Annabelle is the con artist who robbed Jerry Bagger of forty million dollars from his casino as a revenge for killing her mother decades ago (book 2). She hates Jerry and she wishes she had done more damage to him but she also wants to stay alive. Not long after, Annabelle learns that her cover has been blown and Jerry is coming for her. It's up to the Camel Club to help Annabelle survive. Annabelle will also get help from two other people, one her estranged father, Patty Conroy who she has not seen in years. The second person is Alex Ford, the secret service agent who was part of the first book. The second storyline involves Oliver Stone who is really an ex-military killing machine. His real name is John Carr. He's ex-CIA and he has proven to be able to outsmart Carter Gray before. Having done this is the reason why his life is in danger now. Carter Gray and Roger Simpson would like nothing better than to have John Carr dead - for real this time.Harry Finn is an ex-SEAL. He's a doting husband and father but he's also someone who's helping his mother seek revenge for the death of his father. One by one, the CIA agents who were involved in his murder must pay with their lives. Oliver Stone was one of them.A multitude of things happened in Stone Cold. I felt sad for Oliver, he has lost everything except for his friends from the Camel Club. Gray was a great adversary. An evil man with his own personal agenda.I also felt sorry for Harry. He had no choice but to follow his mother's commands. He was raised by her with only one purpose in life. Yet, he was worried about his family and he was hoping to keep his two lives separate.I like the connection I saw between Annabelle and Alex Ford. They make a great couple! With the way Stone Cold ended, I had no choice but to listen to the first two chapters of the next book, Divine Justice.Cliffhanger: Yes4/5 Fangs

This is the best of the first three
Not sure what I'm going to read next if you read them all in a row, then you tend to get the characters mixed little bit

Excellent, suspenseful book
Balducci doesn’t disappoint and with all the activity in this book it is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat whether it’s continuing the episodes of Annabell and Paddy or Oliver Stone, Alex and Finn. So much history and with the government involved it does get a bit complicated at times!

The Camel Club doesn't disappoint!
In my opinion this was the best one yet! A fantastic novel. The parallel story telling and how they came together were masterful. I can't wait to start #4 !!

Oliver Stone at his best
I really enjoy the Camel Club series of David Baldacci. This book, Stone Cold, really shows the personality and the skills that John Carr (aka Oliver Stone) has as a former assassin. It is a non-stop action from page one. I could not turn the book down and I read it in couple days.

What a Great series.
When I started reading the 1st book of the Camel Club series, it took me quite a while to settle in to all of the characters and I almost put it down. Thank the heavens I didn't. That novel and the 2nd and 3rd have got me hooked. I can't wait to read book 4. Thank you David
