Nice reel but, BUT!!! For this much money it should come with all of the parts needed. Significantly missing from this purchase is the requisite internal swivel to mount the outlet hose. For an individual, there is no amount of magical or muscular finesse that will mount a 3/8", 100' long pneumatic hose to this reel without and internal swivel inside the hub. "Recommended" in the instructions is absolutely required in the activity! With three associates to twist the hose in sync with threading the end you can fight this sucker in! Now a kicker. This is supposed to be for 3/8"pneumatic hose. 3/8" hoses have 1/4" NPT fittings. Not this reel! It is 1/2 NPT! Further the CoxReel swivel missing is > $55. Be sure to use a adapter (NOT INCLUDED). BUT ... Oh-wait-there-is-more!, with the in-line 1/2- 3/8 etc. adapters, even if you are successful with your army of associates, then the hose will self unscrew after a half dozen hub turns, even if you use the less-than-useful hose clamp, and leak! One Star for short parts, wrong size plumbing, and too blame expensive! Should be Zero stars.

Love this little reel. I've had the wall mounted reel for a while now and for some reason I wanted a portable unit also. This thing is just as nice as the wall mounted unit. Its a little heavy, even more so with the 75' of hose on it, but I know I'll never have any issues with it. I found it odd that it comes with holes in the bottom but no rubber bumpers for it to sit on... Otherwise, I like it.

Been on the fence to buy this for a while and finally bit the bullet. It's a little smaller than I had imagined but it does the job perfectly. The inner threads came without powdercoat on mine and it fits the 75' Obsessed Garage 3/8" hose just fine. I finished it off with MTM stainless fittings and threaded rubber feet to keep it from sliding around.

Gets weekly use for washing the personal cars. Should be light duty for this unit. Felt pretty quality, never really rolled/cranked easily even with no resistance added.Almost 2 years later one of the panels on the side holding the reel onto the frame fell off. I contacted Cox to hopefully get it replaced and they ghosted me. So I drilled holes into the panel and ziptied it to the frame. Works pretty much the same as before.Really disappointed how this unit turned out, especially for how much it cost.

This is for the 3/8'' variety. Arrives assembled and appears to be made well. I wanted it for use with an air hose. Had to get two 3/8'' to 1/4'' air compressor adaptors to make it work Lowes had them. I used a short leader hose for the internal connection. I found it much easier than attempting to screw in the long air hose. Time will tell if it's worth the money.

The product was very sturdy and well built. The look and feel of this hose reel does seem to be made with very high quality. However what they don't tell you in the description is that it does NOT come with the adapter or swivel pieces. It only came with the hose reel. For the price you pay it should come with everything. I spoke with the company and Cox stated they don't sell hose reels without these pieces. The person I spoke with said that this was an error on Amazon's behalf. I ended up returning the product because I didn't want to go out and find these pieces and build the reel.

Well built basic hose reel. Comes with 1/2 NPT inlet swivel installed. Does not have an outlet hose swivel. A whip hose for reel to compressor tank will need to be supplied by customer. 25’ 1/2” hose fits in reel. Made in USA.

Nice overall and great for portability, but it has leaked at the swivel since day one. It is a very minor and slow leak, but a leak none the less for a brand new hose reel. One other complaint is it can be hard tightening a fitting on the inside drum.
