Beastie Bands collars are the ONLY brand of collar that we buy for our cats! ...
We have indoor cats who are chipped. Even so, we like to keep them collared, just in case they ever get out, as a visual clue that they are not outdoor cats. Beastie Bands collars are the ONLY brand of collar we ever buy for our cats. They are GREAT! They are very flexible, soft and stretchy, so very comfortable on the cats. They are super lightweight, and bend and stretch with the cats, but still stay on fairly securely. Our cats wear these with their Seresto flea collars, and the Beastie Band is soft and flexible over their flea collars, and doesn't obstruct the function of the flea collars. These can pull off over the cat's heads relatively easily. I suppose you could tighten them enough so they won't, but we like them to be looser and comfortable. Sometimes the cats slip out of them, but that happens quite rarely, maybe once or twice a year if that. And I like knowing they can slide off, in the event they do get caught on something. But they don't actively try to remove them because they are so comfortable. They have a metal grommet for an easy spot to hook an ID tag. And the velcro that holds them on is strong, and allows for easy fitting around the neck. A Beastie Band collar lasts our cats at least a couple of years. After about a couple years, they do start to get worn from normal cat scratching behavior, since they are so soft and pliable. But they are affordable enough to replace, and they have so many adorable designs that we don't mind freshening up their look when the time comes. EXCELLENT CAT COLLAR! Beastie Bands all the way!

I wish I would have found these sooner.
WOWSo far I'm thoroughly surprised. Our cat Boots HATES collars. I've bought every collar physically possible, store bought, hand made, break away, cat, dog, anything and everything. Boots will employ every method to escape, hind leg scratching, using his jaw, he knows how to go under the couch and pull it off, and he will MacGyver every method known to feline and human-kind to escape.Once I put the Beastie Band on him, I got zero response. No panic. No instantaneous attempts to escape it. He's walking around normally. He seems incredibly calm and normal. The collars are very soft, thin, and stretchable. You will be surprised by the width of the color it's about as wide as a one of those 4-sided multi-colored pens. I also was surprised that I received a red collar, not a teal one shown above.I suppose not having to worry about Boots is worth being content in the color and width.

Best collars
I absolutely love these collars, both my kitties have a tendency to get out of traditional collars, it is in fact a talent of theirs, the typical life of a normal snap collar in my house is about 8-12 hours. Needless to say that’s no good. So I decided to try these collars and they work so well. My kitties cannot escape yet there is enough stretch so there’s no worrying about getting stuck in any bushes or anything. My cats don’t mind them and I love all the patterns. They do tend to fray after a few months with scratching and licking but I’d take that over replacing collars weekly.

Awesome alternative to breakaway as long as you don't care about color.
My baby girl lost her breakaway collars all the time, they'd last maybe a week at most. I was spending a fortune on them, and was worried people might think they were feral if they didn't have a collar even for a few days. So far (couple months now) so good, both cats still have them on. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the colors are sent randomly. I had to put my boys collar on the girl and hers on him because they sent his in pink. I wish you could at least state if you wanted a girl or boy color.

The only collar my cat 🐈⬛ can't escape
I have tried everything else. This is the only collar that my cat, Salem, has not been able to dislodge and escape from. I love the fact that I can trim it down to size so that there isn't any excess hanging over. He even chewed through a harness.

Best cat collar--unintrusive for cats who take off breakaway collars
One of my cats will not wear a breakaway collar. He keeps taking it off--I've tried a couple. I then ordered the Beastie Band and he doesn't even know he has it on. He doesn't even mind it when he's cleaning himself and it's in the way. He just licks it. He's a smart cat so if the light bulb doesn't go off that he's got this nuisance around his neck, it's ideal. Had the vet put it on my new feral cat, who won't let me touch him yet. No problem! Again, as if nothing is on him. What a relief.

Game Changer!
My cat BeauDandy had a hanging name tag and hanging tracker on his break-away collar. He was losing it....on purpose! A little research and this is my solution. The Beastie Band is soft, stretchy and cute and the "extras" attached are keeping Beau safe and comfy. He actually keeps it on! He is a HAPPY Fat Cat!

ONLY COLLAR MY CAT CAN’T GET OFF
My cat is notorious for coming home without his collar. I’ve tried breakaway collars and every few days he’d come back home without it on. These collars are nice because you can cut it to size for the perfect fit. I wish you could choose the collar of the collar, but I do like pink on him! The pattern is beginning to fade, but I expected that. Would recommend to anyone with smart kitties!
