Received Chinese knock off and not Gardena make as advertised! Beware.

Die Schlauchtrommel kann schön an der Wand befestigt werden und von der Halterung genommen werden, z.B. um im Winter den Schlauch winterfest zu lagern. Die Anleitung dafür ist leider nicht gut gelungen, da hätte ich mehr erwartet, aber gibt keinen Abzug. Ich finde die Trommel erst mal super, scheint gut verarbeitet. Die Anschlüsse sind aus Kunststoff, aber scheinbar robust. Durch den Kunststoff ist die Trommel noch gut zu transportieren. Ich kann den Schlauch schön aufwickeln, das gefällt mir super, es ist schön geordnet.Aber, wie auch schon bei anderen, habe ich nun ein defektes Durchgangsstück. Der Support hat auf eine E-Mail nicht geantwortet. Im Internet finde ich das Verbindungsstück nicht zum Nachkauf, so dass man wohl eine komplette Trommel nachkaufen muss. Schade.Update 07.06.2019: Ich habe nun bei Ersatzteil-Fee das Ersatzteil Art.Nr.: 2684-00.760.00 gefunden. Würde mit Versand auf etwa 15 Euro kommen. Vielleicht hilft es jemandem.

This product is a bit of a con. I ordered the 50 m. Which you are led to believe is 50 meters long. But IT IS NOT!! It is only 20 meters long. So why call it 50m. The 10m is 10 meters long. The 60m has no mention of hose size. So you would think the 50 m is = to 50 meters. Again it is not. A bit of a con from the manufacturer. So be careful what you order. Very disappointed as it is no where near long enough.

I bought this item plus the matching 30m Gardena classic hose and connector to extend to a 50m hose configuration. Turns out this reel barely holds 35-40m of hose before it gets jammed into the wall bracket preventing you from reeling in any further. I tried multiple times carefully reeling in the hose to fit the full 50m onto the reel but it jammed due to the reel being full with about 10-15 meters remaining every time. In the end I've had to cut off what was left just before the reel was full and I'd say I now have around a 13m off cut (37m real capacity) so how they say 50m capacity I dont know. Such a shame because otherwise it's a great product.If you plan just to use this with the 20m hose supplied it's a 5/5 product. I wouldn't recommend extending beyond a 35m configuration to avoid disappointment.Pros:-Solid-Reels in the hose easy (with the 20m hose)-Easy to install (3 screws with wall plugs included)-Easy to attach connectors-No leaks-No kinks-Quality productCons:-Struggles to fit a 40m classic 13mm hose although they state it holds 50m-Doesn't come with a tap connector hose length, you cut your own from your 20m hose.

Positiv: nicht so gross, Drehmechanismus wirkt solide.Negativ: ich habe mir vor rund 3 Monaten eine komplette Schlauchausstattung von Gardena gekauft. Dazu gehörte auch diese Schlauchtrommel. Ausnahmslos ALLE Teile sind bereits jetzt undicht, der Gartenschlauch ist sogar geplatzt. Um die Trommel entsteht konkret eine Pfütze, wenn sie rumsteht. Die einzige Lösung ist halt immer das Wasser am Haupthahn abdrehen. Ich könnte mir vor dem Kauf nicht vorstellen, dass eine renommierte Firma so etwas abliefert.

I was torn between this Gardena hose set or another well known brand that had an enclosed hose reel. They are both about the same price, but after too much deliberation, the Gardena hose was my choice. It had better reviews, a hose that was a bit longer and less that could go wrong with it. If the enclosed hose got kinked or jammed, I could imagine it being a bit of a game to get access. It looked quite robust. When it arrived, it was what I expected. I would recommend this item, I'm very pleased with it, and it looks good.
