TotalMount for Apple Airport Express

I use my Airport Express as a Wifi extender for my Airport Extreme. I bought this so that it is out of the way and it also looks good. It allows you to position your Airport Express almost anywhere as long as you have a long enough power cord. Pros: 1. Many mounting options. You can mount it behind your TV, Monitor or on the wall. I use Command Strips to stick it to my wall. It comes with different kinds of hooks for different mounting styles. 2. Cable organizer helps to keep the cabling neat. 3. Perfect fit. The Airport Express fits snug. 4. Same color and finish as the Airport Express so it has a seamless look. Cons: 1. I wish it came with a horizontal mount in the package. I know I can buy it separately but it would be nice if it was together. Summary: My Airport Express looks great in my living room. It looks neat and high tech. Everyone loves it.

Great product. I would buy again! I just bought two more. That make a total of 3 that I now own. I also own an apple AirPort Extreme that's hooked up to my modem. I hooked one to my printer. One for my appleTV and as devices for airplay/stereo and wireless speakers. Yes, I could have done all of this with one AirPort Extreme and one airport express but out of shear convenience I bought two extras. I love the airport express. Seriously, I'm thinking about buying another one and maybe another AirPort Extreme's! They last forever and they just work flawlessly!! Also, they're so easy to set up. Buy them while you still can! Did I mention that I love them? Oh, and if you buy wall mounts, they can hide behind your tv, desk etc. stylish and no clutter:)

I have an Apple Airport Express extending my home WiFi network in a closet at one end of the house just to provide better coverage. It was sitting on a shelf awkwardly, so I decided I needed to mount it on the wall to get it out of the way. This mount was perfect for that use. Instead of using the screws included in the box, I used my own 2" drywall screws with no anchors. I just like the course threads better and the heads fit in the spaces just fine. Screwed the mount to the wall, dropped in the AE, plugged it in and done. Good stuff. It'll be up there until I decide it's time to do a hardware refresh on my home WiFi network. Oh, and ignore the bad wall paint in the closet. I mean, its a freakin' closet...

Easy to mount, easy to use, did the job, looks great. I had it mounted and in use in about 5 minutes. My Airport Express is mounted on the wall low to the ground so it's out of site. The material was sturdy and I expect it to last a long time. Met my expectations for the Airport Express (there's an Apple TV version, but I don't think that would have been as successful given the dependency of a remote control as other people have mentioned).

Love this mount fits my needs very good for a well secure wifi reception makes mounting very easy well built with quality materials highly recommend the product!

I have a messy desk and I can't tell you how many times I've knocked the Airport Express to the ground. Thanks to TotalMount, I now have my Airport mounted to the back of my monitor. And because the back of my monitor faces the center of the room, several people have asked, "Hey, what's that? That's cool!" So not only has it solved the problem of the falling Airport, but it's also cleaned up my desk and served as a talking point in my office. Love it! Highly recommended!

I was very skeptical about this product at first, but after receiving it I have to say I am impressed. I wanted a way to keep my airport express hidden away from view and this fit the bill to a tea. The varied mounting options were not needed for me as I just screwed the mount to the wall but they seem to give a lot of options for mounting on TVs, etc. The included cable management velcro strips came in quite handy as well.

I installed a AipPort Express as an extender to my AirPort Extreme. I needed a little more power in a far corner of my garage for a LED flood/camera/securityvideo/photo device - so I determined the best location for the Express, but in the house, not in the garage and left it there to insure it was working perfectly for a week. Then having purchase the mount with the Express and after thinking about it for awhile I decided not to mount the mount vertically as I had seen but instead I could mount it high on the wall under my kitchen cabinets and just above an electrical outlet and horizontally. It is better described as a holster and the extra wiring is clipped to the underside of the cabinet so ninety percent of the wiring is unseen. A wonderful holster for the AirPort Express - beautiful.

Excelente opción para evitar que el Apple TV este a la vista y que los cables se conviertan en un estorbo. Es muy fácil de instalar en cualquier lugar.

Ich habe das TotalMount sowohl mit meinem AppleTV als auch mit der neuen Airport-Express ausprobiert und da beide Geräte identische Gehäusemaße haben auch erwartet, daß alles problemlos funktioniert. Im MOment benutze ich das TotalMount mit der Airport Express an Wand montage - mit Kabelf-Zuführung seitlich (nicht unten). Guter, strammer Halt und zwischen Wand und TotalMount gibt es einen kleinen Spalt, durch die integrierten Abstandshalter der benutzt werden kann um noch die ein oder andere Kabel-Schlaufe zu verstecken.
