Is the width of the bun once on really 4in or less? I'm in the military and 4in is the maximum width I'm allowed in uniform.

It has two combs and then there is also a drawstring two tighten it. My daughter has short hair and I made a tiny ponytail and put this over it (tucking the ponytail into it). It worked great!
