DRI Duck Men's Cheyenne Jacket

Warm, comfortable, and feels like it's already broken in the 1st time you wear it!
This is my favorite heavy duty, very warm, wind resistant, all-around coat! Triple stitching makes them super strong. They are high-quality and come in earthy colors including camo. This fantastic coat is great in the Autumn/Winter/Spring, whether you are working in cool or cold weather around your home or ranch. The pockets are positioned correctly and quickly warm hands. The zipper is metal, not plastic. Sizing has always been correct. A vest of your choice can be worn underneath it to layer for even greater warmth. I keep a spare Cheyenne coat in my vehicle during the colder months. I've owned many different name brand coats. I'm highly impressed with the comfortable fit, toughness, and the relaxed feeling I get every time I wear it. I highly recommend this reasonably priced jacket/coat!!! It will make the Sportsman in your family very happy! These make great gifts...my granddaughter wanted the camo I bought for myself!

It looks well-built.
Just came in today, at the early end of the delivery dates listed. Nice. Packaged well enough, a bag inside a bag. The following is after just a quick try-on.Seems like a nice durable material, this canvas-like "Duck" stuff. But nicely soft. Sizing is just about perfect for my XLT body. (Thank you for having my size!) Just enough room inside for a sweater or a hoodie. Cuffs are good, riding to half-way between wrist and thumb. Inside pocket wide and deep for your smartphone. About 7in x 8in. You could almost get a tablet in there. Hood seems comfy. Will see what today's light rain does when i go to lunch. Metal zipper seems like a good quality. Based on wearing it at my desk a few minutes, its warm enough. So far, seems all good.Outside pockets are not insulated, but mine usually just hold items and 'stuff', and are not used for warming much, so not really an issue to me. (If it's that cold, I wear gloves.)Good casual or warehouse jacket.Added note/pic, a few days later:It has TWO inside pockets. The one mentioned above is almost big enough for my tablet. Might fit. Didnt try it... yet?Duck canvas is soft, but was slightly stiff when received, is beginning to relax with just a few days wear, 2 -3 hours total. Wasn't enough rain left the other day to comment on that aspect.

Reminiscent of the good ole carhartt jackets
Since Carhartt stopped most domestic production, and starting making huge huge oversized lower quality clothing i needed a change. I have had 4 older carhartt's from the late 90s that i wore every day to work for years and years! They were great, tough and wore true to size! I was always a medium so never had a sizing issue. Since then i looked at the newer ones and could not believe how huge they are. Not only that but they have lousy components such has buttons, stitching and zippers.Long story short i looked at all the leading competitor's products and walked away with an uneasy feeling not buying any. The Berne jacket was true to size but the arm lengths were 4" too long, and the pockets were shallow and the elastic around the waste was overly tight making the chest and belly area puff out!.The dickies was just flat out cheap. It looks cheaply made and the duck shell was low quality. I dont even want to continue talking about it cause they too have fallen victim too overseas corporate buyouts.C.e. Schmidt the tractor supply brand was basically the same as the dickies but for some reason fit and finish was a little better quality. I did not care for the zipper as it is weak. I think this may sound strange but it lacks identity and charisma that i believe carhartt used to possess. It was just an ok jacket that may give you a couple hard years of workWalls bomber hoodie jacket(sherpa lined) i think could be a potential "decent" jacket. It reminded me honestly of a polished up dickies jacket... Here to find out they are owned by dickies and manufactured in the same offshore plant. I was turned off by it all cause Walls was a great american company at one time.Enter Dri duck. Could not find in stores so i took a gamble and ordered one on amazon. I ordered my usual medium and when it arrived i was shocked at the heft of the package thinking here we go again...another jacket 3× too big. As i began to open it i was impressed by how soft the duck shell was. Very Finely brushed and broken in, yet reeks of toughness...very unique qualities. Upon putting on it was apparent that the jacket was perfectly proportioned in its length, width and sleeve dimensions. The flannel lining is soft and feels of quality. The stitching that secures the flannel and polyester filling is TIGHT! With no loose threads. Shocked! I then zipped up the big zipper and realized it was shockingly similar to the old usa carhartt's of the pre 2000's. It zipped up perfect and shows heft and quality. The cuffs and waist and excellent, Not too tight and not to loose. I am able to raise my arms and the sleeves or waist do not rise. The hood is perfectly sized and not bulky at all, could accommodate a hefty hat plus hood just fine as well. The inner lining of the sleeves are nylon and provide easy putting on and taking off task. This is truly an "active" jacket that is true to size.To sum this up i believe we have a company that is dedicated to quality as evident in the Cheyenne jacket. This jacket has all the qualities of the old usa Carhartt's without the badge and premium price. This jacket has " identity" and "charismatic" qualities not found in the land of Dickies and company. Dri duck is now all i will where for our cold northeast Ohio winters. Buy it... You wont regret!

Great jacket but a little short
Very warm and durable I’m 5’10” and 145 and the jacket fits well but is a little short and I find myself having to pull it back down since it will ride up my lower back. I’ve used it in the snow and it kept me warm and the snow didn’t soak through.

Comfortable, warm, durable, and good looking
I can't find anything about the coat that I dislike..It's almost exactly the same as a Carhart that I also have, only it's $30 cheaper..It's a bit warmer than the Carhart too, it seems like, but feels slightly lighter weight-wise)...I am 6'1" and weigh 220 lbs. My build is long legged with an average torso heighth..I bought 2XL (which is my usual size) and it fits well. Loose enough to allow free movement (i.e. twisting at waist, bending at waist, reaching overhead) without looking baggy on me..A very good bargain. I bought the one that's kind of a root beer brown (I forget what they called it) and I'm going to purchase a couple of more for next year..Either navy or black, and a camo (if I can find one, those sell faaaaast!!) Good bargain on a high quality, durable coat..Recommend highly!!

Comfortable and Practical
Great product. Comfortable. Soft. Fits perfectly. Size seems true. And looks great ! A little scotch guard to help make it water resistant and we’re off and running in style at a fraction of the price or similar name brand products.
