What do you mean by 'manufactured wood'?** A: I can’t verify wood but this thing is solid ,heavy and holds up to a heavyweight practitioner who isn’t tip taping strikes or blocks. For the price point you aren’t getting a Mercedes but we’ll worth it in my experience. The spacers are not great as I received one broken in half with initial purchase (I didn’t need all spacers originally so wasn’t an issue) but when I did and I contacted seller they were very responsive and shipped a replacement quickly. Unfortunately that one was cracked in half as well and a completely different color, so that was the only negative I have on this so far and it’s been 6 months of regular use. Manufacturer please respond** A: No weights are required for the base **Q: Does the leg reach the floor to support weight of dummy?** A: No it is floating about 6 inches or so above the floor. **Q: If it is not bolted to floor will it tip over?** A: We've had this since December and used frequently and vigorously.
