Also details says requires lithium ion battery ... does this mean it comes without a battery?** A: No only the 4. The mini 2 is a different model. Additionally Incipio should be avoided as all of these cases I’ve had (4) have cracked at the hinges and Incipio does not warranty the replacement. **Q: Will this case work for IPad mini 5 2019?** A: Yes if fits and works great. I have used Clamcase Pro's for minis through several versions. Be aware if you want a great keyboard this is it. However the mini 5 and 4 have different rear cameral areas. The case works on the mini 5 perfect if one files the case camera hole a little to expand it to match the different camera lens alignment. I also believe the microphone holes are in a different location and covered by the case. However if you just want a good keyboard for the mini it is great. I don't "record" sound or use Face time on the mini. Be aware that the Clamcase hinges can be weak / fragile and prone to crack if you aren't careful. I work with the mini 5 in this case daily. **Q: Does the ipad automatically turn off when you shut the case?** A: Yes it does. I do enjoy the clamcase. My fav **Q: Does this come with a charger?** A: It comes with a charging cable.
