Helikon-TexCarryall Backup Bag, Bushcraft Line

Lightweight fabric (ripstop) thus very compact, I wouldn't use it daily but I keep it in my BOB as a backup - would be great for foraging without emptying my main pack. Zippers are smooth and high quality; single shoulder strap isn't padded but robust (adjustable, not removeable). Size is the same as Helikon's bushcraft satchel.I wouldn't recommend any heavy use but would make a great grocery bag or just to keep in the car for those of you not into the outdoors.

Sometimes I need a bag when shopping at stores that do not offer shopping bags. Or I don’t want to pay for one - or better yet, I just want to be environmentally responsible. This is a great satchel that folds up into a very handy and compact footprint.I’ve also used it for day hikes. It’s big enough to comfortably carry what I need without being cumbersome.This is also a very solid and reputable brand. Helikon-Tex is a legit brand. I own several of their other products.Overall, this packable bag strikes a great middle ground between a portable packable bag to a more robust bag for the outdoors. No regrets with this purpose. I keep it in the trunk of my car to have on hand at all times. Too many uses to not keep it around.

Great compact bag that stuffs into its own pocket. Perfect for a second carry bag when out on the town, shopping or in the woods. The material is really thin and lightweight, but seams durable.

Packs small enough to fit in the back pocket of my jeans. Holds a ton of stuff and cleans easy. Great bag. Perfect for places that want you to use reusable bags.

Great over night bag.

good handsfree shoulder bag, light duty, easy to swing around to your front for foraging. good strap adjustment. not a lot of options in a packable one strap bag in stealth/dirt colors. I wouldn't transport heavy stuff like liquids or text books in it.

Helikon Tex Backup Bag... I like the bag's shape and size, both when in use and when compacted into it's pouch. That is what's great and made me want to buy it!There are two surprising drawbacks that weaken the final quality of the bag. First, the single stitched seams aren't bound and reinforced. I noticed that even when busted down into the pouch both raw edged, single stitched seams on both sides of the zippper are still exposed outside to more wear. Second the clip marks to line up pieces at the bottom of the bag are messy, poorly executed and are cut way too close to the final single stitching line. Combined they both weaken the bag.I also have a HikPro 20L backpack (about the same price) that is made of a similar lightweight material that also folds into it's own pocket pouch. All of it's seams are reinforced and web/tape bound. It has held up very well after several years of heavy use and is still going strong. When it is in use or stuffed into it's self-pouch, the bound seams are to the inside and all are protected.See photos of both and compare. Please note that in the last photo the Hikpro is turned inside out to show the bound seams.The poor construction of this bag makes me question the quality of other Helikon Tex products. I'll look elsewhere.

Hab sie schon in oliv gehabt, klein verpackbar, u nach dem Auspacken eine grosse Tasche, sehr stabil, liegt immer im Auto, und der breite starke Gurt ist auch super ! Das bietet keine Einkaufstüte .

Świetna rzecz do trzymania w kieszeni kurtki/plecaka na spontaniczne zakupy. Jest wykonana z lekkiego, ale wytrzymałego poliestru i jest bardzo pojemna. Bez problemu przeniesiesz w niej 15 piw, a pewnie nawet więcej.

Der Preis ist happy, aber das Teil hat sich schon oft bewährt. Immer im Rucksack dabei. Klare Empfehlung
