To be honest, when I saw the product I thought I had lost my money due the glue doesn't look so strong, BUT the result was wonderful, when in a crate I put 4 pieces to cover all the floor and a raw potato as lure, at 9 pm in my garage, 1 hour later I went to check if maybe it had worked, I got surprised when a Rat was grabbed in the glue trying to escape unsuccessfully. So happy with this product. Depending on your catching method, will depend your result....

These work really well to catch little critters in the mouse.

Horrible product … I watched mice small walk over the sticky pad with no problem… I had some old ones from a few years back and they actually did the job…. These new ones are uselesa

These catch mice just fine because mice are small. They'll catch a rat apparently if it goes slow or stops on it. I caught two. But I had one rat that got cornered right on top of one of these glue boards, and it literally jumped up and down right off the glue board. And then with my own dismayed eyes I watched another rat run right across one. In both these latter cases, the rats' feet were squarely on the board, yet they were able to pull themselves off.I changed my original two stars to four stars because when I added another glue board to funnel the rat's path across two glue boards, it was enough to trap the rat.So it takes more quantity of these boards than more expensive, stickier traps, but that's fair enough because these boards are much cheaper than others. And that's perhaps why each individual one is larger than the sizes of other brands.

The glue isn't very strong. I had a rat get out of it and then got glue on everything. The only good is you can make it into different shapes. Not just flat.
