Very easy to assemble and solid when put together.I use round weight plates and can only get two dumbbells on each side, I guess if you use hexagonal weights you would get four on each side. It’s the gap between the recess but if using light weights with small plates will get four easily.Regardless of that there is plenty of space on the shelves for the weights.It has cleared a large area in gym so I am happy with the rack.

Overall this is a pretty good quality product, but got to say that I'm really disappointed with the fact that you have to remove the top 3 tiers of dumbbells if you want to use the ones on the bottom of the rack. Each hex dumbbell is basically sat on the one below (rather than being fully supported by the rack).

1. Screws are relatively loose and impossible to tighten without the right tools (which are NOT included, which is pretty much an expectation with these kinds of items).2. The rubber bands on the middle rack are sized incorrectly and come off constantly.3. There are SHARP screws sticking out on both sides of every single weight compartment, so when you want to take a weight off the rack, you have a 50/50 chance of getting stabbed with a free dose of tetanus. Simply dangerous design.4. Impossible to return if you don't have a printer.0/5 stars. Do not buy.

Substantial construction details were evident upon opening the box. Card with 8 bolts, nuts, and washers was included, along with instructions. Steel sides and spreaders are substantial. My 10, 15, and 20-pound weights fit the side slots perfectly. My 3 and 5-pound plastic coated weights are a skosh too narrow to fit over the support tracks, but the 8-pounder fits. My solution was to put my Amazon Basics plastic frame for the 3, 5, and 8-pound weights on the mat just in front of the new rack. Simple and works fine for both me and my wife. Small and compact for tight spaces. We have sets of 15,20,25,30 on it with a few small 5&7 lbs on top. No bend or warp from weight .. so far anyway 🙂 works goodDeff not big enough for any larger weights
