Stopped working effectively after less than 2 months with a fortnightly boil/clean
As per title. This is in contrast to some I got locally (albeit a bit more expensive) that are still going strong even six months later, with the occasional boil to release the collected minerals.

Umm, didn't work
So, I rinsed and boiled it as it said and let it dry. Then I tested the water before and after. The water test showed 18 before I placed the sticks in and when I came home from work it was 23. The test shows how pure the water is and is counting the particles in the water (zero would be pure). The sticks contained my water more than if I had left it alone. I just made charcoal water.

Great buy!
So far it’s been great! The pic is after it is boiled. After boiling it, it makes sense why you must do it. After using it, you can definitely taste the difference. The water tastes fresher or crisper in a way. The price is great, especially compared to our previous Brita. We use a 2L jug, so having two sticks that each last 3 months, gives us 6 months use. Great buy! Just be understanding that they need to be re-boiled every two weeks.

Eco Friendly; Clean and Crisp.
Left a piece of charcoal in the carafe overnight and the water turned out crisp and clean. Definitely can taste the difference. Less chlorine and “softer”. Will buy the smaller ones for water bottles. This is a more eco friendly way to get clean water m. Highly recommend.
