I’m SO HAPPY I bought this hot pot! I’ve wanted one forever, but I didn’t know which one to get and my indecision = inaction for years. This one is PERFECT because the concentric circle compartments make it super easy to stir, unlike the side by side squarer shaped hot pots that would splash a ton. I thought I might want one with a grill, but I’m glad I didn’t because you really don’t need it (everything cooks in the pot and flavors the broth!) AND I don’t have to take anything apart to clean. Plus, I love that it’s stainless steel. Huge bonus I didn’t anticipate: I’ve lost several lbs since we started having hotpot every night! It’s SO MUCH HEALTHIER than what we were randomly having before. It’s STUPIDLY EASY to eat tons of veggies when you do it this way. I honestly really enjoy prepping all the veggies at the beginning of the week (chopping them and displaying them in big jars all lined up by color in the fridge). Then, all I have to do to “make dinner” is arrange all the veggies, eggs, dumplings or whatever, etc we’re going to eat on a big platter (it looks gorgeous and takes 2 minutes, tops). I take the hot pot out of the fridge and add a bit of water and soup base to replenish the leftover broth, set it on the heating base, and VOILA it’s boiling in a few minutes! Set the table, pour the dipping sauce, and I’ve got the most BEAUTIFUL, colorful, and FUN dinner set up in literally 5 minutes. I haven’t entertained with it yet, but 2 of us use it every single night. Whatever is leftover, we let cool and put the whole removable pot with lid right back in the fridge! It even has its own shelf, right above all the pretty rainbow rows of prepped veggies in jars that seriously make me look like have my life together. HAha! I LOOOOOOOOOVE that I don’t have to remove the leftover soup, put it in Tupperware, and clean the pot every night. NO clean up?? Are you KIDDING ME?!?! TLDR: This thing is AMAZING. PS, If you’re new to hotpot I’ll give you a tip- it can be acidic, depending on your base (we like it really spicy). It can be a good idea to have some dairy before and after, like an appetizer and dessert. We have 2 favorite ways to do this with yogurt; 1. as parfaits with some fruit (also prepped ahead of time and displayed beautifully in jars in the fridge). Or 2. we add some water and sweetener to the yogurt in a jar (like stevia, monk fruit drops, or just sugar) and shake shake shake it up until we get a thinner, smooth, drinkable yogurt. This is my favorite way. I like to sip it through dinner from a pretty glass. Extra protein, probiotics, gut protection, and I feel a lil fancy. This whole thing is just WAY too much fun for me. Great purchase! Hot pot at home is such a budget savvy idea. You can use up leftover veggies or buy specifically for it. I used the Little Lamb flavor packs, although I think you can split those into 1 for both sides (very salty). You can also just make your own simple broths. This heats up evenly and is the perfect size for two folks. You could do four, if you don’t mind bumping elbows and sharing (slower cooking process).

I’ve had this pot for almost 5 months and I LOVE it! It gets quite hot (the broth will come to a boil, as seen in my video) so I put a wooden cutting board under it so it isn’t sitting it directly on the table. But that’s not really a complaint, just an FYI to others. The feet on the pot do leave scuffs but so far I’ve been able to clean them all off. We use this for hot pot and it’s a great size for 2-3 people. I haven’t tried with 4, but I think it would still be good, just need a few more rounds of food! I haven’t had any issues with the functionality of this pot at all. No leaking, easy to clean with soap and hot water, and not too difficult to store. I keep it in the box it came in and all I have to do is pull it out and plug it in. Very easy to assemble and I’m so happy with my purchase!

Appears well-constructed, as expected from Aroma. The somewhat-compact size is great because it doesn't take up as much room, but my 3" wire-net fishing spoons were a bit too large to not be awkward (not able to place spoon horizontally in either moat, had to instead slant the spoons at almost 45 degrees); i can see how the hot pots with a more linear divider running down the middle of the pot might work better, whereas this one enables people to more easily access both compartments from all sides of a four-person table. (We didn't really need two compartments, as hot sauce was available to use after the product was cooked. If you're not-strict kosher or vegan, I can see how two compartments might be important.) Definitely gets hot. My gadget-oriented adult son almost got seriously burned because he was confused about how to set it up, so be careful. Moderate weight, no surprises. Moderately easy to clean. I expect it to operate as expected for a long while since Aroma products seem to hold up pretty well. Good basic product that may deserve 4.5 stars, but I wasn't over the moon about my experience vs occ past experiences over the decades.

This is perfect for an individual or couple/family you have to wells, so you can have a little or a lot. If cooking for one or two, just put water in the unused well. I like that it heats up quickly. I also like the stainless steel design. It makes family hot pot night fun!

We used this for the first time and had a great experience. It heats up very quickly, there was no mixing of the broths, it was easy to clean (the pot completely detaches for cleaning and has no electric elements). We were looking at another brand that was $200+ and I'm glad that we went with this option as it's basically the same thing for less.

The dual-sided feature is nice and it does work as expected, but for the price, I was hoping it would feel more durable. It feels a bit lightweight and not as sturdy as I imagined. Overall, it’s usable, just too expensive for the quality.

Good size, love the separation for two different broths, heats up to boiling quickly, very good temperature control and easily stays boiling. Would definitely recommend. Slightly noisy when heating up on high power, but it quiets down to keep liquid simmering when changed to “mid heat”. Super easy to clean. Very stable when turned on with liquid on the base. Short cord needs and extension. Love it thank you!
