IJOYBeach Bomb IP66 Waterproof Shockproof Portable Bluetooth Speaker - Indigo (IND)

I have a small collection of bluetooth speakers, from semi-fancy to very cheap. I put these speakers in the high-end middle class compared to what I have. This speaker has a decent over all sound. You're not going to get blown away by bass nor does the volume get too loud, but it was about what I expected from a speaker of its size. What is nice is that this speaker has clarity in hi, mid, and lo passages. It did not have the cheap tinny sound that is found in many speakers this size. I was satisfied with the sound quality and I feel like you get what you paid for. I did do a true dunk test and I also went into the shower with these speakers, and it survived both tests quite handily. My only qualm was that while I was trying to hear some semi-detailed dialogue while in the shower, the sound of the shower overshadowed some of the things I was trying to hear even at full volume. I don't go to the beach too often, but I feel this thing would do a great job at what it is presented as: a portable beach bluetooth speaker where you can jam nicely with either yourself or a small group of friends on the beach without worrying about it getting wet and without overly annoying other beach-goers with loud music. (Well, when it's generally safe to go back to the beach in whatever part of the country you are). I haven't yet used it or owned it long enough to know how long the battery lasts, but I think you should get a few good hours out of it before having to recharge. If I notice that it is not staying charged very long, I'll update this review. Would I recommend this to others? Most definitely if you're looking for something that could withstand some water, is portable, and gives you a decent clear sound without being too loud. The best quality I would give this is the fact that it is waterproof and can leave you worry free if you were to bring this speaker outdoors and in the elements.

I have some nicer speakers inside the house. These are used in the potting shed, the garage, and the places I still want nice sound but if they get wet or dirty, it’s ok. I have several. The sound is good for the price. They hang easily.

I bought this little speaker to take on me with hikes and so far I'm very happy with it. It's plenty loud even at half volume. Other than that...PROS:-Small and relatively lightweight. (Slightly longer and wider than an iPhone 6, about the weight of a bottle of water.)-Sturdy and stylish build.-Easy to connect to devices.-Straightforward to use.-Good battery life.-I'm not scared I'll break it.CONS:-Short charging cable. (You'll have to have your own USB outlet adapter as well.)-Bass is flat. (If you're planning on playing anything with bass louder than half volume the bass will disappoint you. However, the percussion in rock and metal still sounded ok at max volume.)In the end I give this 5 stars because for the price I got it for, it's probably the best speaker you can buy. A lot of the more expensive Bluetooth speakers are only water RESISTENT and will run you up to 300 dollars. Perfect speaker for those who are anticipating jamming out while getting dirty.

Convenient size, easy buttons, paired easily. Loud enough if you're nearby in the pool, but need to be facing speakers to really hear it with other noises and people, which is kind of good since only those in the pool hear the music. Got dropped in pool a few times and still works. Not sure why they charge so much more for different colors so I just went with the grey. Small clip good to tie off on pool ladder or on a sailboat etc.

This is my second speaker. The first I've had for a year or so and it still works amazing. Decided to get a second just to have. Loud high quality sound, fits in your pocket and it's water resistant and floats. It's literally the perfect speaker.
