Creative Playthings Back to Back Glider with Chain

My kids love this so very much! Very easy to assemble. Bought as a replacement for our older version so brackets were already up so this was assembled and going in 5 mins flat! Sturdy enough for all my kids 6-14. Well made. Only thing I had to do to lower the swing (all swing sets are different-I have a very large wooden one) was buy 16 quick links from Home Depot. 4 for each chain. They quickly extended the chains, for my swing sets need. If you have a regular sized swing set, or lower. You most likely will not need these quick links. Highly recommend this product. Very happy with it!!

My grandkids, ages 7, 5, and 4 love this glider. It is quite sturdy, comfortable and most of all it provides a fun ride. The only problem is that all three want to use it at the same time, since it is the favorite ride on our swingset. They have to take turns, but never want to get off. I love the smiles and highly recommend it as a great addition to a backyard playset!

We’ve had our Creative PlayThings Swing set for 8 years. The glider broke (because I mowed into it, not because of the glider itself) and we needed a new one. This was perfect. Just like the original. Very sturdy and easy to put together. Would but again! It was even cheaper here than through the CPT website.

My son loves this glider. He can't pump a regular swing yet, but is totally fine propelling this glider without assistance. We needed some extra chain and quick links to get the length just right but now he can go to the yard, climb on the glider and get going on his own. It's been 2 months and he shows no sign of getting board. This is his favorite 'toy' right now. Well built and easily assembled.

This is the second glider we purchased after the first one (from Eastern Jungle) crumpled under the weight of an average sized adult. I scoured reviews of gliders until I was cross-eyed and when I found this one, with great reviews and the lowest price I was so excited. Because of our previous experience I did call Creative Playthings before ordering to inquire about a weight limit since I could not find one online- I was told 160lbs (although I imagine this should be distributed throughout the swing, not all on one side/from one person). The glider arrived quickly and was easy to put together. My kids were so excited when we went to hang it on our swing set (the Kodiak from Swing N Slide). Only then did we discover that the chains were about 2 feet too short- I could barely get on it without being on my tiptoes. I went back to the product description and it did mention that it was for a 7ft swing bar- I admit that I didn't think much of this when I bought it because I assumed (big mistake) that most swing bars are a standard measurement. I called Creative Playthings again and customer service was very nice and offered to send chain extensions- unfortunately, they charged me for them, so I saved $20 buying this glider instead of the swing n slide glider and then had to pay $18 for chain extensions. With the extensions the glider works great, my kids (ages 2 and 3.5yrs) LOVE it and can get on/off and swing completely independently. Overall I'm happy with my purchase and it seems like it should last us for quite a while.

Very good swing easy to install and very durable

My kids love it. One thing I did not know that may be helpful to someone else is that you may need to purchase the brackets as well if your playset did not original come with one. I realized this after I received the glider and had to purchase the brackets later. Overall I'm a happy customer.

It's an okay glider. I rated 3 stars because the chain length is way to small. (You'll need to go buy 4 3ft chains to get this Lowe enough to the ground.)Also, the unit is very plastic-y. I don't trust that it can take a beating. Seems cheap. I'm sure there are better gliders out there, I'd keep looking if I were you.
