Easy to use, excellent customer service!
EDIT-updated from 2 star to 5 star I reached out to OMT directly about the broken tools and they responded quickly. They shipped out a replacement with a lead time "around 3-7 business days". It arrived the very next day. I was finally able to pull the pitman arm after 2 weeks of wrestling with it. It was rusted in place but these tools broke it free. I'm leaving my original review below for reference. I'm not sure if was user error or faulty tools, but OMT came through in the end. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Four of the five tools broke while using them. The 5th tool (separator) only survived because it wouldn't fit around any of the ball joints on my 1992 Toyota Century. The large claw puller was able to move the pitman arm down a few mm before cracking. I used an obscene amount of silicone grease on the threads. I didn't use an impact wrench. The joints have been sprayed with PB Blaster several times daily for about a week. I did everything I could to give these tools a fighting chance and they still broke. The large adjustable puller bent out of alignment on the first try. The arms are no longer even and do not sit flat making it useless. The bolt on the smallest puller sheared when I used a tube as a breaker extension. I had to use a hacksaw to cut it free. The large puller was the perfect size for the pitman arm. I went super slow with the tube extension, tightening a half turn or so before backing off, hosing the steering column down with penetrating fluid, and then tightening it again. Using this process, it moved a few mm before the claw snapped. I tried my luck separating the ball joint side of the pitman arm with the small puller. Using only a wrench (no extension) the claws began to bend backwards. I expected a little bit of a hassle when using these. Even one broken tool would've been understandable, but four? The metal used is of terrible quality. I do not recommend.

Excellent for the money
Used most of these at least 3x each. Nice when you have to do front end work but need to limit beating and banging. The longest one with adjustable jaws is by far the most useful. I always use hand tools and penetrating oil or brake fluid on tapers. Sometimes you have to load it up with tension AND hit once or twice with a hammer. I broke the guiding cup on this long tool because I let it engage a nut instead of directly on the threaded shank of the ball joint, but the tool still works. Excellent value for money and in my case nothing failed except the part I broke.

Strong for the price.
So much stronger than the tools I broke. Haha. They are very heavy duty and got the job done, let me tell you. I beat the heck out of them replacing my steering box and there is no damage and made the process a breeze.

Not for 4x4
Its is a good kit for 2WD drive applications or cars but not for removing ball joints out of a 2004 Ram 1500. To small to go around the ball joit. But I will keep it for smaller applications. Overall it is a good kit.

Even presses out ball joints
Great set has popped off ball joints from the mount numerous times. Today I even used the big one to press out the ball joint to replace it . Be warned one of the tools has a sharp point to keep the tool from popping off but some bolts are flat and don’t have the dimple to accommodate the point so it digs a hole and in my case deformed the ball joint bolt so it couldn’t be used.

F250 2002 Steering
Great tool set for my 2002 F250. Only had to use 1 of the 5 tools for the steering ball joints and the Pitman Arm joint. I probably saved hundreds of dollars versus taking it to a shop. Alway keep the nut on but loose when you POP the joints. Amazing how tight the taper fit is. Was able to POP all 4 joints. Quality kit in a nice case.

Only 1 Year US Warranty
Tool works - but WARRANTY is bs. I purchased this in November 2022; and have had mostly no issues - appreciated the tool and quality. However - recently working on my 92 Truck - and the Tie Rod End Puller became Damaged - removing a very tight Tie Rod. Rotating pin got bent; ball bearing popped out and lost... So, now very hard to use. The Pitman Arm puller got DESTROYED (by HAND - NO impact tools or wrench) trying to get a Pitman Arm off the gearbox. So, I'm thinking these all have LifeTime warranties - look into it - find out only 1 year. Manual lists replacement parts - but searching the web and the Orion Motor Tech website - no replacement parts. The Pitman arm puller needs a new forcing screw - even though I used large quantities of lube grease; and the body of that tool - needs the threads repaired. Thread repair "kits" are not cheap. So very disappointed. I did a bit more research and found out Pitman Arms can be EXTREMELY difficult to remove; but Tiger makes a heavy duty unit which removed the Pitman Arm in about 10 seconds. Meantime - I now have two tools in a front end service kit which are USELESS. So I am about to make the same purchase (again) - in one of the more expensive brands - with an actual LIFETIME warranty.

Good value for what you pay
Replacing CV axle joints on my wife's Acura TL. Could not get lower ball joint to pop out no matter what I did so I bought this set. I like that the case has sliding locks rather then the snap type that seem to always break off. It was complete and secured in the blow molded case. The puller castings are definitely not as smooth as shown in the Amazon ad. Pretty rough in places but not a big deal. The threaded steel rods seem a bit sloppy. They did thread freely from top to bottom. Before I used them I took the advice of others and greased the threads. The only puller I was able to use was the long jaw piece. The center puller may have damaged the boot. Anyway, I attached the last puller and snugged it tight. I then gave it one more turn and again at the advice of another buyer I just lightly tapped the wrench end and it popped right out. It did the job I needed it to and hopefully will work as well on my next project. So far so good!
