Nordic Ware Bavaria Bundt Pan, Prata

I question the authenticity of this pan. It does not have the Nordic Ware logo anywhere on it and the name Bavaria is misspelled on the pan itself. It bakes fine but is likely not a valid addition to the collection.I’ve baked twice in this pan. Both Pumpkin Pie Spice Pound. I sprayed well with Baker’s Joy and both times the cake came out so perfectly that cleaning only required wiping with a soapy cloth and rinsing.It is a little unstable on a wire rack, a baking sheet fixes that. It’s not as “fancy” as some others but it’s easier to clean than the very intricate pans. It also doesn’t make an easy portion cutter like the original and classic pans but it portions as easy as the intricate designs and easier than some. It’d be nice if it had handles - it doesn’t.Overall, not my new favorite pan but definitely in the regular lineup. If you use box mix, use a heavy cake to ease demolding. Very light and fluffy cakes don’t demold as easily as pound cake and such. Enhance those light box mixes with an extra egg and a box of instant pudding to get it to setup sturdier. Grease the pan extra well with floured spray like Baker’s Joy. Then cook to 195f-205f and it’ll come out great.

I love my Nordic Ware Bundt Pans! I started with one and I got addicted to the different designs so now I have 8.A lot of people are saying it’s hard to remove the cake and it’s hard to clean. If you use Baker’s Joy baking spray before you put your batter in it the cake will easily slide out.Cleaning is not that bad, let the pan soak in water and dish soap for 10 minutes, then use the spray option in your kitchen faucet to rinse then cleaning is a breeze. I follow up with the sponge and soap as well to clean the inside and out.I am not an expert in baking but through the months I revised my recipes to make it my own and the designs of Nordic Ware Bundt pans made a lot of difference.

Love this pan. Spray with baker spray. Easy to clean. Cake comes right out and it’s very sturdy. Come out perfect every time.

Doesn't the pictures speak for themselves?? It's heavy (which I find I prefer with my bundt pans). It was easy to clean (I recently purchased the cleaning tool to ensure the nooks & crannies were clean) & very easy to remove. Visually beautiful! Love, love, love this pan!

I love all authentic Nordic Ware pans. This one is beautiful and heavy duty like they all are.

I have used many of Nordicware products in the past but never once had a bundt pan where the cake almost NEVER comes out clean even if I use floured cooking spray or brush it with butter and flour it! It's also a nightmare to clean because the pieces of cake get stuck in the ridges of the design which eventually is impossible to clean without soaking it in hot water and a lot of scrubbing! I'm generally very happy with the brand but this pan is a big regret!

What a beautiful cake. So easy to use and clean. I sprayed Pam’s for baking inside the pan and the cake came out beautifully onto the cooling rack

Nice pan as cakes bake well. Main drawback, no lip/handles to hold when trying to drop cake out of pan. Real awkward, hard to hold hit pan with oven mitts and flip....even if wire rack is placed on top when you flip over.

This is a gift the pan looks amazing delivered as promised I will resubmit a review after we use it. But so far I’m happy with the product

Arrived in good condition. Beautiful and well made. Have not bake in it yet. Can’t wait to try it.

BEYOND DISAPPOINTED! I HAVE MANY NORDIC WARE BUNDT PANS WITH WHICH I HAVE BEEN DELIGHTED. I RECEIVED A PAN TODAY, IT IS FLAWED, SCRATCHED AND ROUGH, NOT FINISHED PROPERLY. FURTHER, EVERY NORDIC WARE PAN I HAVE, OF WHICH THERE ARE MANY, HAS THE NORDIC WARE TRADEMARK AND SYMBOL. THIS PAN IS STAMPED WITH A PHONEY SYMBOL WHICH DOES NOT BARE THE NORDIC WARE NAME - JUST "BAVARA (SMUDGE SMUDGE) PAN USA" - IT'S NOT EVEN SPELT PROPERLY - I PAID $58.23 FOR THE NORDIC WARE BAVARIA PAN, NOT BAVARA!!! i CANNOT AFFORD THE POSTAGE TO RETURN THIS PAN, AND PAID BY CREDIT CARD, NOT PAY PAL FROM WHOM I HAVE PROTECTION. I DO NOT WANT TO PUT A SINGLE STAR FOR THIS ITEM BUT IT SEEMS I MUST.
