Blown away. R Studio is great but for beginners and smaller dataset users this is for you. I enjoyed it completely.

Skip this book If you're looking for any math, model theory or applications. Consider buying this book if you straight-up need step by step Excel instructions to create simple data mining models (model selection is your call, no use case suggestions here) with no math to learn.The author claims the book is excellent starter material for the "visual learner" or someone that wants to understand supervised learning models step by step. For this claim to be true in the reader must except that screenshots of excel and step by step explanations of embedded Excel functions make it true.

What a great book! The book is clear to understand and follow. It can tremendously help students to have a deeper understanding of data mining algorithms. Highly recommend if you want to know step by step of data mining calculations instead of one python command.

Good book

If you are learning ML & AI and don't like that they explain how the fundamentals work, then this book is for you. I got frustrated that the online learning expects you to know how to quality check your models, and most if not all learners will not have the background therefore missing fundamental blocks of knowledge required to support your education.However, if you rely on these systems and can't explain the results and can't justify making a risk on the inferences your models create then the fundamentals of this field are essential.The book builds a base for you to rely on and that you can practically implement and test for yourself. Great step by step using a standard framework that's applied to the 14 chapters. Great foundation.
