Blue tack reusable adhesive Bostic Blue tack is a handy putty-like reusable adhesive. Use it to stick, Seal, conceal, hold, and position a variety of items. Perfect for sticky jobs around the home, office, at school and for hobby and craft work. Bostic Blue tack is a great Modeling material. Use it to mold, sculpt, and stick. Preparation Blue tack is ideal for non-porous surfaces such as glass or metal, painted surfaces and vinyl coated wallpaper. Ensure surface is clean, dry, free from grease and loose materials. Make sure hands are clean before handling Blue tack. 1. Posters cut 3cm piece, Remove release paper from one side An affix to surface. Remove the release paper on one side, apply to one surface, then remove the other release paper. Using good thumb pressure, apply to the other surface. Blue tack works because its pressure sensitive so the more even pressure you apply the better the bond. 2. Objects make a blob by tearing off a piece, pull and stretch into a ball and apply to one surface. Removing Blue tack Blue tack works on walls because its pressure sensitive so its important to carefully roll it 0ff. Any remaining shreds can be removed by roll or dabbing with another blob of Blue tack. If Blue tack has been on a surface for sometime, dab with citrus based stain Remover to soften, then roll off carefully. Sometimes, Blue tack can leave a faint oily mark that can be easily removed by using a citrus based stain Remover. Blue tack can be reused. Review: Being from Australia, I use this product all the time. I forgot to bring some with me and was happy to find it on desertcart, though the price is more than I normally pay in Australia. The best thing about Blu tac is that it is infinitely reusable and does not destroy the surface on which it is used. I use it for sticking up photos of my grandchildren and easily replacing them as I get new photos, using the same Blu tac. I also use it for putting up the artwork of my students. Recently I used it to stick decorative palm leaf fans to the wall. Strong hold and I could easily adjust the position of the fans. Light and easy to use, with the consistency of plasticine.

You can pull it apart and stretch it to get it to any shape for small fixes in your sketches. Roll it into a ball and roll it around your sketch to lighten lines before painting. I have a glass surface on my desk and it was wobbly, so I used the smallest piece rolled up under one corner of the glass and it was stable. I have used it to hang up my art work, to hold a wobbly lamp to the table for better balance, remove dirt/dust from my keyboard/remove hair or eraser dust from work area / clothes.. I love the adhesive properties of this and it is easily ready for me when I need to erase or remove graphite of any kind. I’ve used it to secure my pencil to my sketchbook many times. I actually LOVE playing with it in my hands it’s very therapeutic. My 4 year old steals some all the time and plays with it for hours.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I dont care if it damages the wall does it damage the poster? If so in what ways?**
A: My posters were laminated, it didn't damage them or the walls. It just didn't stick. After about an hour, the posters began to slip off the wall and in another hour they were all on the floor. The Blu-tack was stretched between the walls and the poster like if you took gum and pulled it until it began to break. It was worthless, trust me. You are better getting 3-m double sided if they are going to stay a while.

**Q: How does this product hold up under heat.  Such as if one were to hang something over a window to reduce heat.  Would this product hold up?

A: Use under speakers in pea sized balls 4 to a 4 corner Speaker stand top plate. Once pressed down it is very strong in holding 20lb speakers.When I filled the stands with sand I almost couldn't get the speakers off the blue tak works so effectively......my 2 cents

**Q: Hi, if one applies the stuff to walls and later removes it, will it remove paint?  thanks**
A: I did this on my wall to hold an item temporarily, it didn't remove the paint but you just have to be very slow and careful when removing the tack off the wall. However, it also depends on your wall's paint though, I believe different paints could have different results. My wall's paint have glossy coating so I wouldn't know if it were to be applied on a matte coating.

**Q: I want to stick a plastic tea light to the underside of a metal lid (light up the jar). The tea light will be upside down. Will this hold for long?**
A: The plastic tea light is LED, right? These are very light and create no heat. The only heat would be environmental (if you leave closed jar in direct sunlight, for example) otherwise, you should be fine. Just be careful not to get the product in the switch or the battery compartment since it could cause mechanical and electrical problems.

Being from Australia, I use this product all the time. I forgot to bring some with me and was happy to find it on Amazon, though the price is more than I normally pay in Australia. The best thing about Blu tac is that it is infinitely reusable and does not destroy the surface on which it is used. I use it for sticking up photos of my grandchildren and easily replacing them as I get new photos, using the same Blu tac. I also use it for putting up the artwork of my students. Recently I used it to stick decorative palm leaf fans to the wall. Strong hold and I could easily adjust the position of the fans. Light and easy to use, with the consistency of plasticine.

I actually was turned on to this product by a fellow artist - saying that it’s better than a kneaded eraser and to get the blue tack original brand. You can pull it apart and stretch it to get it to any shape for small fixes in your sketches. Roll it into a ball and roll it around your sketch to lighten lines before painting. Also, it’s been super handy to fix a few things around my desk area. I have a glass surface on my desk and it was wobbly, so I used the smallest piece rolled up under one corner of the glass and it was stable.
