PlayGoDough Diner Café Set

I read this as PlayDoh and was surprised when my niece opened up her present and the playdoh smelled really good! When i examined the packaging I discovered that it was "dough" from a Playgo set. Regardless, the toys are constructed as well as any PlayDoh set and there are easy picture instructions to use the molds. The set comes with basic colors and has a color making chart, although you have to be quite patient to get the colors to mix. My only hesitancy, is that the dough smells sort of like maraschino cherries, so I'd be wary about smaller kids trying the eat it. My neice really liked it and had fun making food, especially the chicken leg, and serving it to us.

My 4 year old grandson loved this when he saw it and it kept him occupied for a little while. However, the blue colored dough was not the same as the other colors. It was very sticky and messy. I had to throw it away and then spend hours trying to remove it from his clothes and everything else it touched. Also, some of the molds are very small and difficult for him to use.

My son loves making "lunch" with his set. There are many options for different foods. Best of all the dough doesn't stick to the molds and the items come out relatively easy.

Some of the pieces are a little flimsy but overall, for the price, it's a good set. My daughter loves making all of her favorite food. She also like the dough. It's about the same texture as play doh but smells different and doesn't dry out as fast.

I was looking for a set with a burger mold in it so this was pretty much the only option. No bottom bun, only a rounded top. The pizza toppings are too big for the pizza. The fries are cute but you have to make them one at a time.

We have fun making food with this dough. It kinda smells like real food which is confusing to my youngest. The tools are okay, decently made but I expected that.

We bought this for my granddaughter, hours of fun already. Very nice set.
