Excellent update
After 8 yrs with an Intel Core 3, it was time for an upgrade. Photo editing is my most intensive task. Secondly, our DSL internet source increases response times from the web. This computer makes both activities faster. The 8 core CPU, advanced graphics card, 16 GB RAM and SSD boot drive are the keys to more speed. Finding an optical drive and an ethernet jack along with the above components can be challenging, but this unit has both.My one disappointment was with the Expansion Slots. The Amazon specs list 2 M.2 expansion slots with 1 able to accommodate a 2280 SSD for storage. My plan was adding a 2TB SSD in this slot for an image library separate from the boot drive. In this device the M.2 SSD slot is occupied by the boot drive and not disclosed in the Amazon specs. Instead I added a SATA SSD to separate the image library from the boot drive. The DSL feed of 1.2 Mbs refreshes much faster than with the 8 year old Intel system.

I like this machine, go for it, it has a lot of value
I did some research and the AMD 7 4700G is a pretty good processor and the built-in graphics are good enough for most games. The processor is hard to find at the moment and only seems to be showing up in HP machines so far. Part of me wants to remove it and build a custom machine but it's working too well to mess with it. This machine is completely quiet, has a single 16GB memory chip so you can keep it when adding a second if you wish to expand. I will add a hard drive. It boots quickly but not super fast, which surprises me, I may need to check what it's doing. I'm thinking of buying one or two more if it continues to work well.Edit: price today is almost 17 percent higher than when I bought just a few weeks ago.

Great for home base entertainment.
I like the flexibility of not needing a video card. However, the Windows 11 technology along with AMD video graphics updates cause video stability on a HDR tv. Have to be somewhat techy to streamline issues for a discontinued 2020 HP model.

Good Value Gaming PC
I've owned mine for about a month now, and so far it's been doing well. I wanted a fairly cheap, no frills PC for gaming and it's so far delivered. It won't run the latest and most demanding games well, but for my own needs with games like Minecraft, Team Fortress 2, Civilization 5, and others it runs them at stable, good framerates with high-quality graphics settings and no major issues. The lack of dedicated graphics card and comparitively small storage is definitely a minus, but I have heard it has open slots in the CPU and you can buy external hard drives so these aren't deal breakers for me. My review might change with extended use, but so far I feel like I'm getting a good value.

Comes with Faulty Hardware
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I bought this after reading the great reviews it got, but my experience with this Desktop, the warranty and the HP support has been horrible. First I was told it was the BIOS, then it was Windows, now I have to buy the extended warranty an extra $140 in order to get HP to take a look at this thing. I for one am so frustrated with this experience that I am never going to buy nor recommend an HP product ever again.UPDATE: The HP tech support is as useless as this computer.

From Potato to Mid level gaming
Was actually surprised at how well this bad boy performed for me right out of the box, granted I will probably expand the ram in the near future and a bigger HD, but over all it plays my steam games and videos on my Tv/monitor flawlessly. I would rate it as a low to mid level for gaming but definitely worthy of a look if your bunny hopping PCs Like I was.

Small machine fast as heck
I was dubious when buying this machine, but neither of my other desktops will be able to run Windows 11, I purchased this because of it's size and chip ...I have not been disappointed. Benchmarks are great though I did immediately add another 4tb hard drive and added another 16 gb of ram to 32 gb. I love it ;)
