Traveler's Notebook Pen Holder M Camel 14367006

I picked up two of these. One is on my notebook while another is on my Bible. They are handy, but since then I have seen other designs which may or may not work better. The nature of this clip makes it not super secure, although I have we to loose a pen or knock it off. I do have to readjust it from time to time. So it works for me but it’s not a flawless design. You have to support it as you remove the pen otherwise you will remove the clip as well. Knowing the limitations, I don’t regret my purchase. There are some other designs I’d like to try but I really like these for what I use them for.

Looks great, but I only give four stars because the clip is just not quite tight enough. It keeps coming off the notebook cover (and mine is an actual Midori-brand book) whenever I try to remove the pen. I'm afraid it will be lost soon. :( But it really does look good.

Perfectly fits my Pilot Decimo (11.7 mm in diameter) and also fits my Pilot Falcon (12mm in diameter) just right. It holds on well to my passport sized TN. No complaints, I will definitely get one for my TN regular size.

Great pen loop! Matches my travelers notebook perfectly and I love that wherever I go with my notebook I will always have my pen handy!

Another great product from Midori. I love using the Sharpie brand small pens and this loop is perfect for them.

Used this one for a while - love it on my Camel TN

Looks good on my Midori, but I am struggling to find the perfect pen to fit in. I want to say the loop is too big, because my pencil just falls through it, but my rubber grip pen won't fit in because the loop is too small for it. Most standard ball point pens do fit. I think I just got used to the elasticated pen loop holder on my Leuchtturm 1917 notebook. Of course elastic is more flexible and fits a wider spectrum of pens and pencils, but the leather looks much nicer on the Midori. My hunt for the perfect pen continues...

If you wanna put a decent fountain pen in there, think twice. This thingy is too narrow for this. This is just good for Japanese tiny pens, not a German solid writing instrument. Mine is useless now. Don't make my mistake. Calculate the diameter of your pen before placing your order.

I bought this to use it in my wanderings pocket journal. The metal clip and leather are of very good quality. In terms of what pens it can hold, my Parker pen has a diameter of about 11 millimetres and it is able to hold it very comfortably. I wouldn't suggest using a pen thicker than 11 millimetres as when you try to take the pen out, the leather will start to grip the pen, especially if it is made of plastic. If the pen is thin, it will easily slip out. For this, you will have to place the pen holder so that the clip on the pen holds the leather (like I did). I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for pen holders of this type.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with this product... if you're happy with using a slimmer pen. I like fountain pens (Lamy) and although they will fit, they inevitably move the pen holder around when taking the pen out and putting it back - ok, no big deal really... but it just annoys me, so I don't use it. With a slimmer pen though - a good product.
