Good Customer Service
UPDATEOnce the seller got back to me they were really great about working with me to fix the issue. They provided extra instructions on how to troubleshoot the machine. They also gave me a refund for the item. I really appreciated the customer service.Original:After about 10 uses it stopped working. The engraving started fading away. I used it on leather to engrave first names. I didn’t even get past the testing phase before it stopped working. I reached out to customer service, because the product description mentions that it comes with a warranty but didn’t get a response. Total waste of $300....I had it for 45 days total before it stopped and now I can’t even return it.

Great app but complicated getting measurements right to use
Placement needs to be 100% accurate for a successful burn. There are a lot of variables such as measuring out the legs for the correct distance and then leveling the head of the engraver itself. If anything off even by a hair, your print is a failure. This is not for someone just getting into laser engraving but I don't think a pro would be happy with it either because there's so much you can't burn with it (like stainless steel)It would be SO much easier to use if it kept the outline in place instead of disappearing after 1 second causing SEVERAL attempts at trying to center how you want your project displayed on wood or whatever material you're using. Because of all of this, to date I have only had 1 successful print but even then it wasn't dead center. (see pic) I will keep at it and will change my review if It gets easier over time. I've owned it now for a month and a half. The only upside is the app to use the engraver is super easy to navigate through.

Already paid for itself!
This thing is great! I've had it a week and already sold enough things to pay for it. Works fantastic on leather, cloth, and wood. End results have been fantastic so far.Software - It's pretty intuitive, but requires a phone with Bluetooth. Editing images is quick, but the upload could take a few minutes depending on resolution of the file. Lots of built-in preset options for different materials. Can also set it to do more than one pass for really deep engraving.Size - Very portable. I have this sitting on the corner of my desk working away while I do other things at the computer. Bring along a power bank and this can go everywhere you go.Results - I've had only one failed engraving out of the thirty or so I've done so far. With a quick settings tweak I was able to re-print quickly. Other than that one, everything else has been absolutely fantastic. One thing I recommend - USE A LEVEL. If you make sure your device is 100% flat, you'll easily be able to center your image on whatever you're engraving on.Speed - This totally depends on the size of the image; resolution and file size. Several images I will be printing frequently have now been modified to have minimal "blank" space around the image. For instance, I engraved a skull at 100mm and it took almost two hours. It's a very large file with tons of details. My channel logo takes about 2 minutes. Most of the built-in images take 1 to 2 minutes. I'm satisfied with the speed.Tripod - Wish this was weighted on the third leg. As it is, it works just fine and can easily be adjusted. I kinda wish it had a more structurally sound stand, though.Overall a very competent laser engraver for a beginner. I've been doing a lot of commissions this week with engraving names on baseball gloves, gift tags, and just random things people ask for. I've also been engraving pretty much anything I can think of around my office. I am having a blast with this.

LaserPecker review
I very much liked the engraver for the first few dozen times that I used it. I used it to sign and annotate wood turnings. Very simple, very easy to take a picture and engrave the picture (of text or other image). The LaserPecker developed multiple faults (unable to pair in bluetooth and would not accept password). The Technical Service was very prompt to answer but the normal response was to uninstall the software and then re-install it. I must have uninstalled/re-installed 50+ times. When that didn't work we quickly ran into an impasse as they gave me instructions that couldn't be followed for my model & software combination. So I am left with a $300 desk ornament.
