You can actually see ALL of the letters and numbers when backlit!
I love mechanical keyboards with "Blue" switches. Over the past several years I have tried four different keyboards with Cherry blue switches that were backlit. Of course, the Cherry switches were fine, but none of the keyboards exhibited uniform brightness of every key on the keyboard. This Z-88 keyboard doesn't use authentic "Cherry" switches, but the ones that it does use are excellent. I originally purchased one of these keyboards for use with my digital audio workstation, that I don't do a lot of prose-like typing on. It was compact and priced well for that application. At the time I had a Rosewill mechanical keyboard (with Cherry switches) attached to the computer on which I do most of my writing. What I began to notice was the back lighting on the Z-88 was far superior to the Rosewill. I purchased another and replaced the Rosewill with it. I'm not a "touch-typist" so I really need to see the keys. I have been delighted with this Z-88 keyboard since I made the switch. As a plus, there is more room for the mouse on my desk drawer. This is a great keyboard if you want that "blue-switch" feel and want to see every character on every key in the dark.

Good for $30 bucks
I use this keyboard to browse, occasionally do homework, and game. The blue switches are tactile, this means pressing down half way will trigger a click, which is loud but satisfying, if you don’t like tactile switches this product isn’t for you. I don’t like how typing makes the body of the keyboard ping, but its only somewhat noticeable because of the clicks. The functions on the leds are okay, and I stick with the normal mode. The stands works well and theres little sliding on the keyboard. Overall, a hot swappable blue switch keyboard for $30 is a good price and I got what I paid for, so I would recommend buying if you’re on a budget.

Technically Not Hotswappable
There's something wrong with the switch pins or the sockets which makes them very difficult to get out of the sockets. Many of the switches on my board were off-color blue. Luckily I bought this thing because I wanted to make a mold of the case and to use the top plate, but I still haven't gotten all of the switches out due to their defective pins. My model uses blue Huano switches and once I do get them out it seems to widen the socket so for anyone who guys this you may eventually get to swap the switches, but assume you're going to lose at least half of these stock switches in the process.

Not a great board
To be honest I didn’t get this board for gaming. I wanted to get a cheap hot swap board to try out different switches and for testing. For the price, I knew it was going to be cheap, but it’s really cheap. The keycaps are about as thin as you can get and still work—that wasn’t such a big deal, though because I have other keycaps. The worst part was the switches. I couldn’t remove them all. The switch plastic would tear like tissue paper when I tried to remove the switches.Maybe the board would have worked ok as it was for gaming, but I just can’t recommend it because of the quality and I can’t imagine it would last that long with any kind of heavy use.
