I have a 1994 GMC truck with a 5.7 engine. The engine was making a valve tapping sound after it was sitting for about 4 months. The sound was very loud… so loud I powered off my engine thinking it was a rod knocking. I changed my oil and put this bottle of liqui moly additive in. I cranked up my truck and let it idle for at least an hour and the tapping sound was gone. Cranked my truck up a week later to drive it and the engine sounded great with NO tapping sounds.

Works as intended made my truck quiet down a lot.Found out I had loose manifold bolts that caused a lot of the noise but lifters are quiet now.

Edit: editing this because the lifter has completely failed on cylinder 2. This isn’t the additive fault and the lifter was too far gone to fix. I’m sure if I added it a few thousand miles before it might’ve helped but after 230k miles it needs a new motorI bought this so fix a lifter tick on my Chevy. I thought it would work since I read the reviews. But after adding the two bottles of the oil, and driving 300 miles. The tick has actually gotten louder. I’m not going to say that the oil made it get worse but it definitely didn’t prevent it. I’m sure it works for other people and I will give it the benefit of the doubt that my truck is just worn and nothing will fix it. But either way it didn’t perform the way I expected

So far, very impressed. Had lifter tick on cold starts that went away with driving. Used one bottle, it’s been 2 weeks and no noise so far. It seems to have impressive effect. These n52s in my bmw have this common issue. I would highly recommend this product to at least give it a try

My car sounded like a Diesel truck before I used this product in my V6 Hyundai motor and now sounds like it's bran new wow awesome stuff.
