Batteries caught fire!
Purchased this in January to give to my husband on our 50th anniversary Feb. 27, 2021. Which apparent;y negates Amazons refund or replacement policy.Which sucks when the batteries self desteruct on the very first use!Flashlight had a heavy weight which we thought was good. The instructions with the flashlight were brief and incomplete. They urged" When inserting the battery, please make"+" face towards the inside and "-" towards the outside. Then it stated, "Before charging, please make sure that the battery is installed in the correct direction, otherwise the flashlight will be damged." On the front of the package where they label the contents; the batteries are shown as two separate side by side batteries. They are labeled as "High-capacity 26650 battery" Our problem was that the batteries were stacked and wrapped in a blue covering. There was no positive or negative markings on the casing. Both ends looked exactly the same (smooth and flat). So we removed the blue wrapping and placed the batteries as directed. My husband could feel the flashlight heating up in his hand. Pulled them out of the flashlight and the were glowing red and then burst into flame. There is a statement on the instructions, "If you encounter and problems with the flashlight, you can contact us at any time and we will give you a 100% satisfactory answer." Unfortunately there is no listed number or address to make that contact. Buyer Beware! I would give this Zero Stars if that were an option.Update: Talked with an Amazon Rep; who immediately gave me return instructions! Returned through Kohl's who also gave me a 25% off coupon. I had a replacement flashlight by 3/4/21. Carefully inspected the new batteries. The original batteries were definitely packaged wrong so if yours comes without a definite negative & positive pole....don't use them , send it back.Flashlight works great, love the zoom feature and the weight. This is what I expected to receive.

It’s bright but I doubt 90,000 lumens bright
It’s definitely bright but, if it was 90,000 lumens, it would be absolutely blinding which it is not. In spot it does have a bit of range to it and there is no doubt that on a dark night you would be able to see this light if it was lit by someone miles away but, to put that into perspective, if someone lights a match in a clearing on the side of a large hill on a dark moonless night, that match strike can be seen for up to twenty miles.I’m not trying to say that this is a bad product or a false claim, it’s just that manufacturers make this same claim all the time as a way of saying how bright it is. The point being that every light can be seen for miles if you’re the one looking however, if you’re the one holding the light, the range that YOU can see clearly is what really matters. In flood mode, if you’re in a normal size room, yes, it will provide quite a bit of light in the room. If you’re in an airplane hangar using flood, the light dissipates quite rapidly. One thing I find annoying about this light is that it has a slight purple tint to it.I love doing night photography and I use a lot of different flashlights to “paint” objects during a long exposure and this is the main reason that I bought this light, 90,000 lumens should do very well, I should have to dim it down instead, i wish I could make it brighter, I found that when I look at the pictures after the long exposures, it has a definite purple hue to it and in many cases, the purple tint actually degrades the light.I have pictures of a KC-135 on static display that is well lit other than the outer wings, I used this flashlight to paint the wing during the long exposure and everyone that sees the pictures immediately comments on the purple hue of the wing.As a flashlight, it works and yes it is bright but it’s not 90,000 lumens bright. The range is okay but, I have a 4K lumens flashlight that has the same if not better range that also provides clear vision with white light. The purple tint is something that just doesn’t work for me so now, I just keep this 90K lumens flashlight in my glove box in case I need it for something that requires some light. If all you need is a flashlight that provides a bright light then I recommend this light but, if you need a flashlight that needs to be bright and provide a crisp and clear light for objects at a good range then, I recommend that you keep looking because this one will not provide for your needs.

Battery life sucks
Super bright and works well. My only issue is that the battery life sucks. I use it for 2 days one hour at a time. By then I usually have to fully charge it. Once you charge it and don’t use it for a few days the battery is dead.
