Stay Matte Primer

I don’t wear makeup, but you’d never know it thanks to the Rimmel London Stay Matte Primer. I love that this product keeps my makeup on all day without having to reapply. I use Maybelline fit me foundation and concealer. I have tried other primers such as One/Size secure the sweat primer and it just sheds or pills off, it doesn't want to stay. Plus it doesn't keep my face oil free or sweat free. But the Rimmel london primer really works wonders with the Maybelline foundation and concealer. Also I have used some other higher priced silicone primers and they only help with my pores but not keeping my face oil free. But the Rimmel london primer works!! The only thing I would say about this primer is around the corners of my nose I still struggle with keeping my skin oil free around that area and my chin sometimes. It gets shiny. But even if my face does get shiny throughout the day it is nowhere near as bad as it used to be with other primers. Thank God I found this primer. I will continue to buy it. This primer truly makes a difference when it comes to keeping my skin mostly shine free and oil free. I love this stuff.

This primer worked well for me. I put it in my tee zone which can get a bit oily some times. It keeps it matte and makes my pores less visible. The price is good too which is very important for me. I used it both in summer and winter!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have been experimenting with different primers and Rimmel London Stay Matte - 003 - Primer is my new go-to primer. Initially the thickness and texture is a little off-putting. First, I dab this over my trouble spots such as, cheek rosacea and larger pore areas and also around my crows feet, and then to the rest of my face. When I smooth it out over my face , the texture becomes a little more silky to apply. After it dry's, I go ahead and apply my foundation with a brush. The foundation goes on much smoother. I thought I was imagining this, but after quite a few hours of wearing it, my skin feels like it is being "tightened", especially in the 'crows feet' area near my eyes. This sensation is very similar to using a "5-minite wrinkle eraser" product. If I use the primer alone, I get the same sensation, so, it's not from my foundation, etc. Again, this seems to happen after about 6 hours after application. I like the way it feels like it is tightening up the wrinkles. Since I only use a small amount, it's a good value for the price. I am very happy with primer and intend to continue to use it.

This stuff really works well! No shiney face all night! Is not thick or cakey. I don't wear a lot of make up, so I put this on, either alone or with a little powder and that's it. It is really awesome! Best primer I've tried! Lasts all night! Can't feel it, doesn't look like I'm wearing anything, but tones down any red and prevents shine! Love it!

I have what seems to be dry skin. Before my makeup, I always use a non-greasy lotion. I wait a while and then apply small amounts of this primer. This primer visibly limits the shine on my face, it smooths my makeup and allows it to last longer. I haven't had any adverse reactions to this primer. I am impressed with this primer and appreciate the affordable price!
