I was a bit apprehensive when this arrived, as it is VERY bright in the bottle. However, it goes on very smooth and has a thinner application than expected - no air bubbles or goopiness. The application brush is the newer Essie version, wide & thin, which is very well-suited to their formula (much more so than the skinny brushes). The color is a nice, medium berry that isn't too warm or too purple-y. I am very hard on nail polish, and it lasts quite long for me, as long as I wrap the tips well. As someone who trends towards more neutral polishes for my fingers, it's a surprising favorite.
