These are our go-to every day ziploc alternative. Good thickness so they don't feel cheap or tear easy. Have only every used them for dry food products so can't confirm if they are leak proof.

Love they are eco friendly but trying other brands. As they are a few months in my drawer they are increasingly difficult to open at the zip. I am cutting off the zip at this point to just use a clip or twist tie. Also they fall apart from the freezer…which makes sense as they are made from natural fibers and that doesn’t bother me as much.

These plastic bags are pretty good however, when opening the Zip closure often the top would rip off.

These bags are super durable and seal well. I like that they’re compostable and I’m not contributing to more waste by buying them. Good value for the money!

I love these baggies. I love not feeling the guilt if I throw them away, knowing they will decompose quickly and not hurt the Earth. They are very strong and excellent quality too. Will always buy these going forward instead of plastic baggies!

I am replacing these bags with the usual "sandwich" type bags that are not compostable and finding that these bags seal much better zipper closure for short term storage in the refrigerator as I go along on a daily basis, plus I feel better that I can cut off the tops and know that when I throw them away in everyday trash that the bags will eventually decompose. It helps me feel like maybe someday this environmentally friendly little attempt will help with our future earth

Wanting to do my share for the environment I bought a box in every size of Ena Corn Starch compostable food storage bags. When you compare the product picture to what I got, the website does not show or say anywhere that these bags are "commercially compostable ONLY. Facilities may not exist in your area." Well, great. I wanted to be able to toss these in my back yard compost. To make matters worse, I stored some tortillas in one bag and bread in another. There was already a traditional storage bag in the bread bin with other tortillas. The more recent items I stored in the ENA bags were significantly more dried up 5 days later, compared to the older tortillas I had put in a traditional bag. Same with the dinner roll. It is VERY deceptive to not put a picture of the ACTUAL bags that were shipped that warn of being only commercially compostable.
